Relatively small lunar module.
Improved, refined and updated variant of the Advanced Lunar Surface Access Vehicle (A-LSAM)
The size was reduced too much saving a lot of weight for practicality. Now it can finally be placed under a fairing properly.
More than anything it is the final version of the A-LSAM, designed this time under operational calculations and not so much by trial and error, although thanks to the program of the previous lander it was possible to get to this vehicle.
The descent is recommended to be carried out in an orbit no higher than 30 kilometers from the lunar surface and the ascent must be a maximum of 30 kilometers, the latter strictly that since the tanks were done at 100%, concluding the operations of the ascent module.
The cockpit is quite simplified since, well, you have the MFDs on hand as trigger group controllers and stats, so we didn't have to add as many switches and gauges. It simplifies the construction and modernizes things, apart from greatly simplifying the operational load, leaving more space to pilot it how it should be.
It can carry a maximum of up to 6 Droonauts (with a minor modification) Although adding more weight may compromise the fuel time on the ascent stage (maybe you won't even be able to reach orbit).
In the last photo you can see its predecessor (exhaustively used) and its modern and more reliable replacement.
Despite being a relatively new module, it still uses the "central transverse core" configuration as it helps increase fuel capacity and improves engine layout, apart from allows for smaller sizes but large interior volumes.
Actually the module has what is necessary regarding batteries and RCS and gyroscopes, perhaps they add ballast weight but it was the best way to control it if you do not want to use monopropellant.
It is also designed respecting and updating itself to the new mechanics of the game, so it will come in handy for experienced players and newbie players.
It is not recommended to modify at all the essential consumables of this ship, such as gyroscopes, Monopropellant, batteries, fuel and engines, although a weight reduction is still possible. Regarding the interior of the habitable area of ??the module
It has a slightly asymmetrical center of mass yet the descent stage motors have 6 degrees to compensate.
Huge thanks to the UST team for the engine calculations.
