@kittman Its programmed to land at the launchpad, those coordinates in the vizzy program tell it where to go.

This is cool. it does a great job with it's true suicide burn. the suicide burn happens so late I thought the thing was gonna slam itself into the pad, but nope. an extremely soft landing. I tried launching from the runway, and although it started to move laterally to target the launch pad, it continued over the launch pad and settled into the grass, still moving laterally. when the landing gear touched the ground it continued laterally until it tipped over and made a big boom-boom. ;)
I started tweaking the engine size to see how it affected the suicide burn. The vizzy code did a great job compensating for the higher thrust. The original engine was at 50% size, so I bumped it up to 60%. It performed a perfect suicide burn and touched down so softly but there was enough residual thrust that after it touched the launch pad, it kinda bounced back into the air a little bit. but again the code was smart enough to relight the engine, go into a slight hover then slowly settle softly back to make a successful, soft landing. I then upped the engine size to 75% and the exact same thing happened, except after it touched the ground it softly bounced back into the air a bit higher but still settled back down for a soft landing. and just cuz I'm curious, I'm gonna keep increasing the engine size until I break it. :) -
