My first community post for JUNO:New Origins
This is the Forester Indestries Space Fighter Project 4 (or FE-SFP4)
Made to deal with fast moving orbital threats such as ICBMs or Asteroids (if possible) and destroy them with a laser or a missile.
This version is unarmed due to this game not having any weaponry (i came over from simpleplanes)
To use this, spawn on a runway and activate the solid rockets. Angle the wings 25 degrees upwards to increase lift forces. And then ditch the 2 external rocket boosters. Then activate the main orbit engines, but use them sparingly as you could burn the built in rocket boosters as well as run out of fuel quickly.
This is my 4th attempt at making what is essentually a semi-realistic “star fighter” with realistic features.

I like the design, but you can’t get to Low Droo orbit in the original configuration. Not enough fuel capacity.
@WVBOBK thank you and i know, that’s why I am continuing this line of spaceplanes and SSTO’s. So I can get closer to the goal of making a functional spaceplane that has combat capabilities. That’s why it’s called Space Fighter Project. Ether way I have no answer for why it can’t, and the only thing I can suggest is to try to keep the nose as high up as you can with the solid rocket engines before attempting to orbit.
Thanks for the comment
