ALDEBARAN FUTURE EXPLORER
ALDEBARAN v5.0 "4FUTURE"
General
Aldebaran spacecrafts are designed for the exploration of moons and earth-like planets for up to 9 astronauts.
They have a rocket-like Vertical and an airplane/helicopter-oriented Horizontal operating mode.
In contrast to the other variants, the ALDEBARAN FUTURE EXPLORER is a science fiction vessel.
Science fiction components
The "4FUTURE" Aldebaran has a extremly powerful antimatter drive generating more than 5 Earth-g thrust with almost inexhaustible fuel reserves.
The main engines can be time-warped several times (for long acceleration phases, e.g. for a flight from Earth to Pluto).
Two operating modes
The vertical mode is intended for interplanetary travel, while the horizontal mode is for moving on the surface of moons and planets.
Vizzy
You can make all flights without using the Vizzy flight assistance programs at all.
This is certainly great fun for all experienced pilots. The craft is highly balanced and excellent to steer.
The Vizzy programs are generic, i.e. they fit into any environment - with some restrictions.
The automatic landing program (AG20) works on almost all atmosphere-free celestial bodies.
The hovering assistance programs (AG2,3, 11) allow flying like a plane or helicopter.
The Altitude Hold program (AG3) has a target altitude, which is set by activation of AG3 and can be modified with Slider 2 afterwards.
Venus Probe
Because there is no possibility of landing on Venus, this spacecraft has a probe under the hull that can be released above the Venusian atmosphere.
The probe flies through the atmosphere and can continue flying like a quadrocopter after dropping the fairings.
Universe
RSS1.2 and Juno System have been tested.

@TomKerbal
It's an all-in-one vessel. Very creative.
