Good morning aviators, this is your captain speaking. Welcome to basic fighter maneuvers. As briefed, todays excercise is dogfighting. Guns only, no missiles… just kidding, there’s missiles.. lots of missiles. Ever want to be a naval fighter pilot? Well heres the workhorse of the U.S. Navy, the F/A-18 Super Hornet.

Weapons are pre-connected, which is why the parts count is so high. Generally it launches around 1k parts. To set up weapon/ fuel payload just remove unwanted missiles or fuel tanks. Then go to VIZZY and connect the specific weapons in use.
It’s all labeled and should be easy to understand.

To Move weapons onto the rail, set the translate tool to .5 and simply raise the RED DETACHER upwards until it’s fit onto the rail. Empty detachers are meant for bombs. Copy and paste bombs to the rails, then go and connect bomb drop order. Pro tip- the more weight further out on the wings the more sluggish the jet will perform, so drop outside pylons first.

Flaps are operated by the fly-by-wire. Naval pilots will manually select either Half or Full flaps while on the ground, then switch to auto in the air.

Landing gear has been strengthened so belly flop away like a true naval aviator. More crucial control surfaces are now operated by the fly-by-wire

Slider 2: fire selected weapon. If none are selected, it defaults to the mini gun
