Say Hello to the Galileo Series of Rockets!

The Galileo Series of rockets is a new type of rocket family, that includes Orbital Variants, and Lunar Variants. Each one is equipped with a unique set of abilities.

This Variant? The Crewed Luna Lander NN!

Stats:
  • Can Carry 13 Droods, all with comfortable rooms equipped with a High-End Computer, and a bed to the surface of luna. Along with a few small luna habitats.
  • Has the wonderful piano player, Sterling Scott onboard for entertainment.
  • Has three tables for periodic Meals for 6 Droods at a time.
  • Tinker panel was only used to make the side boosters separate better
  • This Version is Not reusable. And the lander cannot make it back to droo. It stays as a base on luna.
Controls: (Make sure to quick-save often)
  • Set Craft Pich to 90 Degrees
  • And, I guess heading to wherever you want.
  • At 1,500 Meters above sea level, set craft pich to 75 and slowly go down.
  • You should be around 55 Degrees pich at 5,000m ASL
  • KEEP GOING DOWN until at 10,000m ASL
  • Throttle down to 50% and keep going down
  • Fly your way to 25,000m ASL and put throttle to 100%
  • Separate boosters
  • Continue to orbit.
  • do a trans-luna injection.
  • DO NOT ORBIT LUNA UNLESS THAT IS YOUR FINAL DESTINATION
  • Land the lander

What’s “NN” You Ask?

It’s simple! NN stands for No, No, In reusability. Meaning the first and second stage are not reuseable.

Where will this craft go?

This series of crafts will be used for the “Solar Alliance.” And for personal missions exploring the new planets being added (at the time of writing) Soon-ish.
