Why is it auto orbit? How to turn it off?
nice
It will explode
Where i can talk with u sir? Can we talk on telegram?
I can't explain it well without pictures. @ojedee
I've tried it but my first craft is gone
Yes, take the sattilite and drag it into the upper left corner box. This makes a sub-assembly. Then, you can open the craft for the rocket and pull out the sub assembly from the sub-assembly menu, below the Gizmo parts.@ojedee
I have another question. For example I have downloaded a Satellite (without rocket) and then I also downloaded a massive rocket without payload. then I want to combine the two things. Can it?
Oh damn.. ok i will try. Thanks sir
The craft starts propped up on the SRBs. Because they have gimbals, they are kind of springy and can collapse if your physics settings aren't right. Could you try turning physics settings to max? @ojedee
And my game version is 307 by the way
So my phone is Redmi Note 7. Graphics settings are default but i only change craft to medium. Physic are medium by default
Weird, I've never had that problem. What are your physics settings at? @ojedee
Lul it's directly blown up after loading to launchpad 😅
@gopherguts2 Ok!
No, it currently runs off KAL, which gets you to orbit. Getting to the moon is one of the more fun things to do manually, and orbiting really isn't, so it probably won't change how it is.@wonkapilot
@gopherguts2 Thank you! Great build by the way, are you going to program it to go to the moon?
Thanks for the review, and for the pitch problem the engine gimbal works well if you launch from the runway or manually roll immediately.@TopSecret2

Alright, so with an extensive test of how far it could go on its delta V: it’s pretty impressive. Managed to get all the way to Cylero but not enough to get into a stable orbit inside of the ESS 3.1 moons. I had pulled this off by doing a Luna encounter before Droo escape, then waiting nearly one Junian orbit before burning to an encounter. The remaining delta V was not enough to adjust the trajectory into Cylero’s atmosphere but for a lunar landing, it would be perfectly optimal.
Something very important to note: even without KAL, the solid rocket boosters were difficult to manage in the gravity turn, as I have seen with previous versions of this rocket. The inability to turn vertical velocity into surface velocity at altitude costs a lot of delta-V to adjust to, which is something to be said is advantageous about paper variants of the Saturn V: the F-1 rocket still has a major say in where it turned. Lessening the effect of them could be done by rotating them 90 degrees to the center assembly so they face in polar directions instead of in line with the equator. Most people want an equatorial orbit as is. But great interpretation of it otherwise!
Select the capsule part inside of the decorative capsule, in the pop-up menu scroll down and click EVA next to the astronaut names @wonkapilot
Does anyone know how to activate astronauts?
@gopherguts2 I’ve had good experiences in crafts like it but I will have to come back to yours once I remove the programming and do it all ye olde style.
In other topics, has your experience with the craft itself been good? I could use feedback. @TopSecret2
@gopherguts2 Meh; gravity turns are opinionated and a bit tricky. It’s something that works when you treat the spacecraft like its being swung by the gravity of the planet into orbit, but not all turns are so efficient that you can do it all in one single burn. I have pulled that off before, though.
Yes, I'm afraid that is simply a problem with KAL at the moment. However, I am working on a new version with sooner and more optimized booster separation to avoid this issue. @TopSecret2
