J-XD is a nick name of the developing 6 generation Chinese Fighter. XD in pinyin stands for “next generation”.
On December 12, 2024, several Weibo users implied that a new jet had appeared in Chengdu. The manufactor in Chengdu also produces J-20, the current major force of the PLAAF. Soon all discussions were banned on Weibo, yet discussions continued on some other platforms. Besides, a park near the airport was closed. Obviously someting is happening there.
Some clues show that Chengdu's design is a triple engine, twin pilot jet with a lamda wing, and it is significantly heavier than current fighters. Although some photos and drawings have appeared, none of them have valid proof that they fit the real design.
This craft is a rough speculation of the fighter, just have fun with it. (I add cheating gyroscopes and fuel tanks to improve its performance.)
