Suzaku II is equipped with a liquid oxygen methane cryogenic engine with proprietary intellectual property rights. The rocket has a two-stage configuration with a diameter of 3.35 meters, a full height of 49.5 meters, a takeoff weight of 219 tons and a takeoff thrust of 268 tons.

First Flight Time and Status
On July 12, 2023, the Zhuque II Yuan-2 liquid-oxymethane carrier rocket was successfully launched from China's Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The rocket flew into the predetermined orbit and the test mission was successful. The mission was the second flight of the Suzaku II carrier rocket. It is also the world's first successful delivery of payload into the intended orbit of the liquid oxygen methane rocket.

The Suzaku 2 Yuan-2 liquid oxygen methane carrier rocket was launched from China's Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The rocket entered the predetermined orbit and the test mission was successful. Suzaku II is the world's first successful liquefied oxygen methane rocket into orbit, marking a major breakthrough in the application of a new low-cost liquid propellant in China's launch vehicle.
