Feast your eyes on the Kuiper X-4!
The Kuiper X-4 is a spaceplane that can get to orbit without a carrier. It has no payload capasity, but can bring an adventerous drood for a ride. The only Tinker Panel used on this craft was to make an MFD smaller. No XML was used. This craft will be used to transport Droods to an interplanetary vessel to explore the new system coming out hopefully soon. This will also be used for the Solar Alliance

Yes, I know I said this would be an SSTO, but jet engines are heavy, so when you get to 20km up into the air, Jet fuel tanks and jet engines are detached.
Controls
- Start engines, The craft can be controled by NavSphere, but it is quite unstable. Try using thumbsticks on mobile and whatever you use on PC
- Slowly climb to 20km
- Start rocket engine and detach the jet gear
- get apoapsis above 65km
- level out and circularize. If you run out of fuel, use the RCS
