The Atom 1 was Astrospec's first step into the realm of reusability, boasting the title of being the only fully reusable spacecraft in existence upon its release. The Atom was built entirely with utility in mind, with a range of variations and a base simplicity that makes it excellent for modification and versatility. The entire first dtage, including boosters, feature a recovery system of parachutes and landing legs, making the only non-resuable part of the Atom the escape tower, which is jettisoned alongside the first stage on a sub-orbital trajectory. It is to he greatly stressed that this spacecraft is meant to be molded to the user's needs, the entire baseline second stage is just there to demonstrate the lifting ability that the base Atom provides, although it is sufficient for orbiting and is equipped with RCS systems, a cargo bay, and a docking port if you insist on keeping it. The Atom proved to have outstanding success amoungst Astrospec, putting their name on the market amongst national corporations across the globe. If a mission required less lifting capability, the boosters could easily be removed. If a mission required even more lifting ability, a fourth main engine could comfortably fit amongst the trio in the first stage. The entire first state along with boosters costed less than $30,000,000 USD to produce, and due to its reusability, only $700,000 to launch, making it the top choice of orbital launch vehicle around the globe, going so far as to almost match the total launches of the Sputnik rockets by the end of its life. The world was beginning to catch up, however, and Astrospec was going to need something bigger.

@AstrospecEngineering I know how to do those, but I use them rarely on crafts, just to do decoration lights, but nothing more.

Haha I’m glad you like the design, it was really fun to sketch out and make. The lights aren’t any kind of a mod or anything, all you have to do to get the same effect is go to your painting options, select “custom,” and then set the emission to the highest level and it will make anything you paint in that color glow! @AstronautPlanes

I like those light blue strips, will use them for a next rocket :3 (and give credits obviously)
Thank you! :D @SkyRocketTurtle
