So after almost 200 years after you "humans" took off to space, the first "space capable" aircraft (a prototype to be spacific) has been produced. There was a good amount of difficulty getting anything to space, due to the low temperature tolerance of both type 1 and type 2 carbex. It was found that above 300-500 degrees Celsius both types of carbex would start to show signs of structural failure(mostly cracks would start showing up). To deal with this problem. The entire aircraft has been coated an a temporary shielding material. But that's not the end of the problems. Turns out the original engines (from simpleplanes) do not do squat in a vacuum. So an onboard oxygen supply has been added and the original engines have been changed to fairly weak ion engines. there are still several problems, but all patience is non existent.
