Nagato Battleship

Nagato Battleship is the No.1 ship of Nagato class battleship built by Japan in the early 1920s.
According to the naming convention of the Japanese Navy, Nagato Battleship was named after the old Nagato state. Because the Yamato warship in the Second World War took strict confidentiality measures during the construction and wartime, the Nagato Battleship and the same type of warship Mutsu Battleship were still well-known warships representing the Japanese Navy in wartime and early postwar. At the time of Japan's surrender, it was a battleship with navigation capability of the Japanese Navy. In July 1946, the ship was deregistered, and the ship was handed over to the United States as war compensation. It became a target ship in the Bikini Atoll atomic bomb test and was damaged and sank in the second atomic bomb test.
