Having a problem when separating an item/craft which has wheels and is not the controlled craft at time of separation. The part with the wheels is acting as though the wheels have significant energy after separation resulting in the part behaving unpredictably (bounces about, shoots off or falls apart).
If the part is the controlled part at separation or control is taken after separation, then the behaviour is normal.
This can be seen on the attached demo where separating the wheeled items shows the effect and taking control of the last item before/after separation prevents the problem.
