Can't Change Systems

I am unable to switch current active systems.
My phone struggles to smoothly run the most current version of the game, so I decided to switch to the classic solar system using PlanetStudio. After I chose the system and selected to make it the active system, but when I launched a craft, the game is still running in the current system.
I attempted to do this multiple times, and got the same results each time.

the screenshot shows my craft orbiting T.T even though it shouldn't even be there. the thumbnail is brigo, which also should not be there

I noticed I was not running the most recent version of the game, however updating the game did not solve the issue
