More of a sextant that measures the elevation angle of a geostationary satellite and then of another satellite that resimbles polaris (escaped the solar system with 90 degrees inclination). the device is not practical with the current settings as it requires steps that will be shown on the screen.
the concept of measuring angles is found in my SR2 radars, it depends on measuring the input of pitch and yaw and feed that into sliders to change the chip orientation until the input is zero and then returns the slider position translated in degrees
