@Davidtheduke I don’t think so. Soyuz is ultra old now, 60 years for rocket is too much. Falcon 9 is very progressive and cool rocket, with a lot of innovations, and Falcon is much more cheaper and easier to use, than old Soviet rockets like Proton and Soyuz. Soyuz is now kind of ineffective, it uses old engines, it hasn’t reusable options. Soyuz and Progress ships are also aging. They can’t return any things from ISS. There was Транспортный Корабль Снабжения (ТКС), big ship that flies with Proton. TKC was huge, consisting from 2 parts - Functional Cargo Module (it’s like Russian ISS modules in size) and capsule, that can return back to earth with crew and some kind of cargo. FCM and Capsule was two ships in one, but they can “live” without each other. But USSR collapsed, and TKC program had no future D:

True. I mean, the eu prefers to send its satellites with the originally Soviet rocket: Soyuz. The Soyuz is the most used rocket in history and it doesn’t have a lot of accidents. It is an embarrassment that a communist rocket is better than the rest of the eu rockets. In my opinion, the rocket that can fairly compete against the Soyuz is the falcon 9.

… USSR made so many things in space. FIRST: satellite of earth, man in space, spacewalk, woman in space, dark side moon flyby, satellite of sun and other great things. Americans was first on moon and they won the space race. Weird
