Non player camera part view not selectable anymore when rapidly approaching the ground

Auto Credit Based on Dooiereier's cam thing
Tracking a rocket falling/landing from a tracking buggy. When rapidly approaching the ground while viewing from the 3rd party cam, the view reverts to planet view. The camera is then not selectable anymore (not visible in the list of camera views).
To select the tracking camera:
1. press pause when the game opens
2. switch to tracking craft, press AG 5 and change camera view to telescope lens
3. switch back to rocket to follow it.
4. wait until the camera reverts to planet mode.
