Auto Credit Based on AnotherFireFox's (CR) Real Scaled System 0.07

This is a hotfix for planetary mesh. Until 0.07 planet meshes weren't incomplete so your rocket tends to fail into the darkness right after launch. Now Earth has complete mesh and hopefully Moon and Mars too, so no more rocket falls.

How to install

  • Download a zip file here
  • Go to C:\Users\, find a folder with your Windows username and open it.
  • Select the View tab from the ribbon menu.
  • Under Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then select OK.
  • Go to C:\Users\ YourUsernameHere \AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimpleRockets 2. This is where your SR2 data are stored.
  • Unzip downloaded zip file here.
  • Download this sandbox and play!

Won’t 9.8 Δv put you in orbit regardless if the craft is rss or not? Is the only difference that the crafts will never have 4.5 Δv and still be good, well conceived orbital platforms?

I want to install these planetary lands on krau's rss2.0, but the link is invalid, and GitHub can't get off. I am in the mainland, and the network can't get through, so I hope to repair the original link as soon as possible.

This mod is out of date given the latest betas, and I make no warranties about the feasibility of getting this working right now. However, for those who didn't git clone while they had the chance, here is a mirror: https://github.com/sflanker/sr2-realsolarsystem

@AnotherFireFox It had been a few weeks, is there any news about the rebuilt version of RSS? I check Pedro's post but seems like there's no post about the RSS rebuilt.

I'm on Android and it won't let me download the sandbox. How do I make this work? I put each file where it goes and the sandbox doesn't show up

@Dinkel That's something with Steam Cloud. If you delete something when Steam is offline, Steam tries to recover the deleted file. You didn't steal my time lol

@AnotherFireFox i made a mistake downloading it, now i downloaded both files as one zip file and now it's in the right folder, except default coexists in the same folder (with the stock solarsystem.xml) and even when deleting, it suddenly reappears when i launch the game. Also, i hope i'm not stealing your time O.o

@Dinkel that's weird. I checked the repo just now and it's /RealSolarSystem/SolarSystem. I haven't committed anything to the repo for years so I'm not sure what's happening on your computer.

@AnotherFireFox Soo, i downloaded the latest file today, unzipped it as i should, did not seem to work after that. So i checked directory \SimpleRockets 2\UserData\SolarSystems only to find /default/SolarSystem
    So something is wrong, right?

I was able to fix the solar panel performance issue by adding the XML attribute efficiency="10.0" to the SolarPanelArray elements in the XML file for my craft.
