There's no such a magic to make Lagrangian Points and yet make it simple. If you want it, you need a supercomputer and NASA level planning, or be really smart as KSP Prinkipia mod guys.
@tsampoy Someone's speaking English doesn't make him American :/ There are a lot of countries speak English, and a lot of people learning it to speak the language in business. Furthermore, picking USA doesn't make him American neither, as picking Soviet doesn't make me Russian. Anyway what do you mean by chronological order? Do I have to submit a family of rocket start from sounding rocket to proper moon rocket?
@mjdfx150529 I'm not sure that could be a valid tactic. It can be possible if SR2 aims totally different market than KSP, like mobile, there are many options. If it want to be the competitor of KSP, it can never be without mods. Modding scene is the biggest asset of SQUAD and it's the only thing players keep playing it. If Jundroo is not that willing to incorporate them, that's just an astronomical waste of potential.
@5thHorseman The forum's confusing beyond my understanding. I made a suggest on the submit board, but it seems like you can't have found my post. Even I can't. I retrieved this link via my profile. https://www.simplerockets.com/Feedback/View/nt6vZN/More-heading-locks
So my question is: Can we expect this game would grow up to what we have in KSP with RO/RSS modpack? 300+ celestial bodies with non-patched conic gravity or interstellar travel?
@NathanMikeska What if the feature changes not only look & feel but game mechanics? For example, complicated life support system with full recycling process, in situ resource utilization or even N body simulated gravity rather than patched conics?
Real question is where should we use them? It can be old school KSP science experience transmitter or modern KSP signal relay.
+1 6.0 years ago@WNP78 I mean it shouldn't be so. Moreover fuel consumption should be mass, not volume.
6.0 years ago@WNP78 I mean it should be in physical values like isp or exhaust velocity.
6.0 years agoand what brought me here? XD

6.0 years ago@tsampoy it's already Friday here, but okay. I guess you're saying American time. Btw chronological? Do you want a history from sounding rocket?
6.0 years agoSo how? I fixed my Ranger VI into Soviet Edition(TM) and made a unmanned moon lander. Where should I post what?
6.0 years ago@tsampoy okay, I'll go for soviet. I guess my Ranger VI looks good enough with some minor fixes.
6.0 years agoI mean you mentioned two teams based on real history, I guess you have to put some house rules to make the teams resemble real ones.
6.0 years agoLook at my vessel, Eridanus MPCV: https://www.simplerockets.com/c/DU83gP/AFFA-Eridanus-Crew-Module
It's not my newest tuned version. It's waiting for bug shooting. However you can give a look at docking shield with radial parachute setup.
6.0 years agoAny rules? For example no fuel consumption tinkering for USSR and no more than 5ish engines per stage for US?

+1 6.0 years ago@mjdfx150529 and SQUAD was basically one person...backed by modding community?

+1 6.0 years ago@NathanMikeska This forum is confusing. I guess I wrote on suggestion board
6.0 years ago@5thHorseman Ah, I was like I missing something and it was radial/normal XD

+1 6.0 years agoWill we have N-body sim and lagrangian points anytime soon? Please?
6.0 years agoN body sim when? Never? D:
