I don't think it matters whether you install through steam or not. That's just where Juno puts its files on Windows.
I'm a little rusty on Windows, but I think
C:/Users/{yourusername} should be visible no matter what, but Appdata might be a hidden folder. File explorer should have an option to show hidden files.
