Player Biography

Hey, I'm Orion_RBX. I'm French, and I'm passionate about aeronautics, space, and astronomy. I've been playing JNO for five years now. I love that game because I can create anything without limits ! I play on mobile at the moment, but I'm planning to purchase a new computer to play JNO on it! I created the PSI -CORP-, a fictional corporation for science research and development.

Current Projects

Rockets

Sirius I-a.
The first version of the Sirius I rocket, capable of launching a small payload into LEO.

Sirius I-b.
Modified version of the Sirius I-a, with one added stage and capable of launching a larger payload into LEO.

Sirius I-bl.
A Sirius I-b but with reduced payload capacity, smaller fairing, and capable of launching a small payload into High Earth Orbit (HEO).

Sirius I-e.
Inspired by the Falcon Heavy and based on the Sirius I-b. Capable of launching a small payload into a very high orbit or farther, such as an interplanetary injection.

Sirius I-h.
Based on the Sirius I-e but with a larger fairing and less payload weight capacity.

Sirius I-c.
A crewed version of the Sirius I-a, can be equipped with the Omicron Crew Capsule.

Antares III-a.
A heavy payload rocket used for launching heavy objects into space.

Antares III-b
Same as the Antares III-a but with only 1 stage, payload is attached to the side like Space Shuttle.

Invictus IV-x
Giant experimental rocket inspired by the Sea Dragon but 100 meters taller

Vega-II
Old rocket made by the PSI -CORP- for the first moon exploration of the OrionSpaceProgram.
This rocket is now replaced by the Sirius I and the Antares III.

Payloads

Zeta.
A satellite based on the CubeSat design but bigger. It is commonly used for communications and interplanetary communications.
Can be launched with the Sirius I-a, I-b, and I-e.

Upsilon.
A small probe inspired by Huygens but much smaller. Made for interplanetary exploration.
Can be launched with the Sirius I-e and can be mounted on Zeta.

Upsilon MKII.
A new gen and more advanced version of Upsilon (still in development)
Can be launched with Sirius I-h only if mounted on StarFish.

StarFish
StarFish is an interplanetary transaction module. Made only to attach Upsilon MKII
Can be launched with Sirius I-h.

Ulys.
A large interplanetary and descent cargo vehicle. Made to transport cargo to another planet. Unfortunately, it can only land on planets and moons with atmospheres.
Can be launched with the Antares-III rocket.

Leonardo.
A crewed interplanetary module. Used for interplanetary exploration. Can be docked with an Ulys cargo module or another Leonardo.
Can be launched with the Antares-III rocket.

Apophis.
Another moon/interplanetary descent cargo vehicle. Made for non-atmospheric planets/moons. Can also land on atmospheric planets if the atmosphere is extremely thin.
It can be launched with the Antares III-b rocket.

Hestia.
A lunar lander for the moon exploration.
It can be launched with the Sirius I-h rocket.

OrionSpaceProgram :

The OrionSpaceProgram is the space program of the PSI -CORP-.

Mission :

(old) Moon exploration :
The Moon exploration, has the mission to land several landers on the surface of the moon and to build the Luna Space Station. Mission realized with the Vega II rocket. (2022-2023)

(old) PSI Space Station :
A space station launched in several pieces with the Vega II rocket. (2023)

(old) Docking Practice :
A mission to learn and to perfectly dock several capsule and modules in space without difficulty. This mission is the start of a new horizon for the OrionSpaceProgram. (2024)

(Actual) Interplanetary Exploration :
The interplanetary exploration of the OrionSpaceProgram started after the end of the Moon exploration. Two new gen rockets has been built (Antares III and Sirius I) and Vega II has been removed. A bunch of spacecraft has been developed specially for the interplanetary exploration, such Zeta and Upsilon MKII. (end of 2024)

(Actual - planned) Interplanetary colonization :
The interplanetary colonization is the most expensive project of the OrionSpaceProgram. The goal is to colonize a bunch of planets and moons. Many interplanetary spacecrafts have been built (Leonardo, Omicron Crew Capsule, Ulys). (early 2025)

(Actual) Almaak :
Almaak is a current project of the PSI -CORP-, is a satellite constellation project for communication. The goal is to send 300 Almaak satellites in LEO. They also can be mounted on a Zeta to be deployed much farther, like interplanetary communication. (early 2025)

(Planned)
New Moon exploration and colonization
: This planed mission has the goal to colonize the moon with new technologies. Apophis and Hestia are two landers specially made for this future mission.

(Planned)
PSI Space Station splashdown
: The PSI Space Station is a bit old and this planned mission has the goal to.... destroy it…

(Planned)
New space station project
: This planed mission have the goal to make a new space station. Invictus IV, a super-heavy experimental launcher, is in development for this mission.

(Planned)
Solar station
: This mission had the goal to make a space station in a low sun orbit. This mission need a lot of research and development right now and the OrionSpaceProgram is focusing on the interplanetary exploration and colonization.

(All these rockets and payloads are purely fictional.)
