@SethTheEngineer I'm not fully understanding what you mean, could you make a bug report with a detailed explanation of what's going on? Report it from the designer while using the craft that is causing the problem, please.
The 0.9.801 beta is live on the Steam beta branch and it will be available on iOS and Android in a few days.
Join the iOS beta here and the Google Play beta here. Join the Steam beta by right-clicking SimpleRockets 2 in the Steam client -> Properties -> Betas -> and then select "beta - Public Testing" from the dropdown.
@DrexxVolv that's not a finished structure, just a WIP base I left there so people could give me some feedback. With the feedback we got we'll be holding the final version for the next update to have more time to make a better spot since this is the first of its kind in the game.
@bspawn limited to <=, you can still xml or do some input controllers magic to get it below that. You can control it through the input controllers from vizzy too
@Arstotzka no, that'd just add pressure to us and frustration to the community. We already have a roadmap where we add some of the most relevant things we are working on.
@Roar_LX @QinSheng as I said, if the description is obvious enough and there's nothing to add in the comments, we don't comment, just use our own tools to classify the reports. If you then delete them at random we loose track of the report. Don't do that even if the report is wrong, it's easy for us to reject it if that's the case.
@QinSheng well, the lack of a reply proves my point. We don't answer all bug reports but have settings you don't see to track them (priority, what dev is assigned to it...), as you can imagine we have higher priority bugs to fix and features to add, Jundroo is a very small company with limited resources, and the solution to that isn't spamming the webpage.
I know that some bugs can be annoying and frustrating, as you know I've also been a player for a long time before becoming a dev, but that doesn't justify being annoying to other people.
@Roar_LX @TridentLaogou @QinSheng First of all, stop pinging the devs in the posts, you've pinged Andrew 3 times!! Do you know how annoying and ineffective that is? If someone gets pinged every day for things like this after a while it's tempting to just ignore the pings.
Second, please post this as a bug report so it's easier for us to track it and we'll look into this in the near future
@Amirabadi it doesn't increase part strength but it increases its resistance to turn/rotate. It doesn't affect a craft but an entire part group, so if you aren't sure about what part groups are and how the stability slider affects them it's generally a bad idea to use it.
@PasonJawulo that's why at first those pads had no particles. I asked the community in discord and they suggested having particles on the center was better than not having them, so I added particles. It's a shame that they can't move but that makes it so users can move them around and customize their properties, it's hard to evaluate the pros and cons and sadly it will never be the perfect solution for everyone
@RamenNoodlesXVII launch effects can now be customised and added to any structure, but the side effect is that they always have the same origin, usually centered at the pads
@DojoGiraffe I can't find any report from your account. RAM usage in the old system should be lower after some performance improvements we implemented so please, make sure to report it again so we can take a look at the issue. The stable release will be out in less than 80 days, yes.
@DojoGiraffe any system that you opened in this update will likely break because of incompatible elements in the XML, I would recommend waiting for this version to go stable
@Chtite451SR2 I'm sorry if you get triggered, but until now you've been working on an unfinished beta version of planet studio. If you want to work without problems on a polished product you should wait until it is finished.
Please check the roadmap to see all the known issues already fixed or that is being fixed right now before reporting them. Also here you can find all the reported bugs, if you've experienced them, feel free to upvote instead of re-reporting.
.
If you don't know how to get into the Steam beta branch check this.
.
If you had a craft previously landed it may explode when updating the system. The terrain of some of the bodies has been changed (mainly Droo, Cylero, and Luna) and the atmospheric parameters in Sergeaa and Cylero have been changed a bit too.
@sflanker thanks a lot for the ping and for the help! And thanks a lot for the great report, with the paste bin links @Bykowycz03. Amazing job guys, this is why this community is so cool :)
@AshtvinayakAerospace please, don't ping the devs to ask this kind of question. You can try to ask for help in the forums or one of the community discord servers. That said, planet studio is not designed for mobile platforms.
Please check the roadmap to see all the known issues already fixed or that are being fixed right now before reporting them. Also here you can find all the reported bugs, if you've experienced them, feel free to upvote instead of re-reporting.
@br0then if you just created your discord account, that may be the problem. For security, discord waits until an account is at least 5 minutes old to interact in a server.
@FelixFan1 if you have a problem report a bug, do not ping the devs
3.2 years ago@lordhacker click the image
3.2 years ago@HoverAerospace @aaaaalsa you have to add it in when it doesn't exist already, and careful with those values! 50 is crazy large
+3 3.2 years ago@PROXINSAAN if you want to run high part count crafts, lower your quality settings. The lighting should be identical on both bases.

3.2 years ago@Fazberon well deserved, it's a really cool rover!
3.2 years ago@Space_XL in this case you'd have to argue with google and apple, which is even harder xd

3.5 years ago@Roar_LX I'm checking your posts and you haven't posted any bug report ever, did you use a different account? If so, which?

3.6 years ago@UAviator what processor do you have? Some of us including me have ryzen and I'm not aware of any crash when parts impact.
