@PositivePlanes SRC, not SR2C. It's short for SimpleRockets Chat, which is the semi-official-but-not-really SimpleRockets server. There's an invite link in my interview submission, but here's another one.
@PositivePlanes Thanks!
1. As a kid my favourite movie was How to Train Your Dragon, and to be honest it still is. I always found Toothless to be adorable, so a few months ago I made him my profile picture.
2. Hard to say. The community, perhaps? I always liked the community, and after joining SRC I appreciated it even more. The developers are also great.
3. I'm honestly not sure. The idea just popped into my head and I, bored as I was at the time, decided to make it.
4. Make what you want to make. Don't worry about upvotes or points, just make what you want to make and have fun with the game. The points are just a bonus. If you upload something and it doesn't get any upvotes, don't worry about it. As long as you had fun making it, who cares?
5. I think it's quite good. A worthy successor to the SPW, I'd say.
@Thelegitpilot13 It is not 1-1 scale. It's more like 1-10 scale, but the atmospheres are scaled up a bit so that they aren't tiny. Droo's atmosphere ends at about 60km.
Well; I returned it to Droo. Thing is though, I sorta forgot I put a 4 ton battery under the command capsule, and the parachute couldn't slow that down enough and.. well.. you get the idea.
Return is looking good so far. Got out of Cylero and am nearly on a course back to Droo with plenty of spare DeltaV left given the fact that from here all I really need to do is some mid-course corrections.
@Awsomur
Yes, Cylero is this game's Mars analog.
Here's the current Solar System:
Droo (Earth)
Luna (Moon)
Cylero (Mars)
Tydos (Jupiter)
And Urados, which is Uranus.
@AndrewGarrison If my brother gets selected for beta testing would I also be able to play it? I was going to fill the form since I got a new tablet, but it said I already filled it because I guess it's limited to 1 per IP Address or something.
@Kell Correction: Google Play doesn't prohibit the running of mods. Most SimplePlanes mods do in fact have an Android version. However, (not sure if this is the case for SimpleRockets 2) future versions of SimplePlanes on Android will require that the scripting backend be changed from one that supports mods to one that does not due to Google Play now requiring that all apps have 64-bit support. See here for more details.
@WaspWaspWaspSR2 Well, if you actually do play Spaceflight Simulator, I'm a well-known member of The official Forums for the game, if you're interested in joining. It's quite a nice community.
Looks great so far! If my tablet won't be able to run it, then at least I have the PC version (And have had it since the first 10 minutes of the game's release!).
sigh Read the FAQ before asking the same question several people have already asked before. It's being worked on.
"When can we expect the mobile (iOS/Android) release?"
We will begin development in early 2019. At this point, it is too early to give a release date estimate. Once we’ve started to peel the onion back we’ll have a better grasp on how long it will take to get the mobile version blasting off.
@Kell How did you fall for it?
5.1 years ago@JastroOne1 Nice try, redcoat. But I have memorized that URL.
5.1 years agoWill there be a tutorial for the basics of how to use this when it comes out?
5.1 years ago@weebabyseamus I hate to be "that guy", but do you have any rough idea at this stage as to when a beta for this will come out?

It is I, Dorian the Supreme
5.1 years agoWhy have you made a craft with over 14 thousand parts?
5.1 years agoUse the Nav Sphere to lock your heading.
5.1 years ago@Mod You might want to update SRC's member count lol
5.1 years ago@Kell Really? Huh. I swear Andrew said it was 1/10.
5.2 years ago@Thelegitpilot13 Andrew mentioned at one point that it was 1/10 scale, so that's the best answer you're gonna get.
5.2 years ago@Thelegitpilot13 It is not 1-1 scale. It's more like 1-10 scale, but the atmospheres are scaled up a bit so that they aren't tiny. Droo's atmosphere ends at about 60km.

5.2 years agoHere
5.2 years ago(unless it's just a craft made for fun, in which case it's fine)
5.2 years agoAll I gotta say is don't mass scale.
5.2 years agoI just increased your point count to 1337
5.2 years ago@Bmcclory Pre-mobile release flashbacks

5.2 years ago@Bmcclory oof
5.2 years ago@Bmcclory Did that give you a notification?
5.2 years agoHello world
5.2 years ago@Bmcclory I knew that name sounded familiar!
5.2 years ago@Kell There is a possibility Android could get mod support at some point, but it's unlikely.
5.2 years ago@Wr25 Who are you talking to here?
5.2 years ago@AndrewGarrison Check your Discord DMs, it's important.
5.2 years ago@AndrewGarrison The people I've talked to have said they are. Congrats on the Mobile release!
5.2 years ago@AerialFighterSnakes I appreciate that HTTYD reference lol
5.2 years agoMeanwhile I've had the mobile version for the past 27 days or so :p
5.2 years ago@Allentsb You weren't selected for the beta, and you're not a YouTuber, so you're gonna have to wait until the 19th and buy it like everyone else.
5.2 years agoOh, so you are the same person as the guy on the SFS Server. Neat.
5.2 years agoYes
5.2 years ago@MarioG I still have it so I can change it back whenever I want
5.2 years ago@Looney I dunno. I'm just bored.
5.2 years ago@NerdsGalore No
5.3 years agoWell; I returned it to Droo. Thing is though, I sorta forgot I put a 4 ton battery under the command capsule, and the parachute couldn't slow that down enough and.. well.. you get the idea.

On Google Play you won't need to repurchase the game when it's released. Not sure about iOS.
5.3 years ago@AndrewGarrison
We live in the same house and we get along pretty well. Hell, I was the one who told him to sign up since at the time my tablet was broken.
5.3 years ago@AndrewGarrison If my brother gets selected for beta testing would I also be able to play it? I was going to fill the form since I got a new tablet, but it said I already filled it because I guess it's limited to 1 per IP Address or something.
