you need a noise mask, a noise, a remap curve, some basic arithmetics (optional), and an update height IF YOU WANT GOOD LOOKING CANYONS. For cracks, you need a cellular noise, a clamp, basic arithmetic (needed), and update height for pointy, jagged CRACKS(not canyons)
One factor why you are losing confidence is that you are not trying and you are not seeking information. It does sound stupid, but that is how I learned. On some on @Zenithspeed ‘s planets, I asked him how to make such things, and he would normally explain in summary. I recommend downloading other people’s planets and see how they work.
Ok @Seeya , why did you delete your projects forum and the other planets, Orman and Columbus? I have Tlip, Darus, Marco, Orman, and Columbus, in case if you need them back if you don’t have the files. Just, why did you delete those posts?
@heitorM Thanks! I am trying to sound unique and not ‘generic’. Generic names are like names with ius, us, or, or is. Thanks for the suggestions though!
@BmnkRocketIndustries Very good friends! Me and him talk to each other a lot of Steam. I like spending time with him because he is basically the only friend I have.
@CloakPin I do get much choice, and these are my planets. Countless random names could be fit for this gas giant. A name like that would be a name no one would choose in general (not the example), and I am always thankful for everything I get. I recommend getting newer information and saying something relevant. All I did was ask for y'all opinions, not complaining about such and such.
@Seeya I know, but when I planned on changing the names, you told.me that names that normally end with -ius, -is, -ion, -on, or other things like that, they sound too 'generic'. I also asked for y'alls opinions, not for approval. I mean, what would you think about a blue gas habitable gas giant with big rings an habitable moons with life, with the name of the gas giant being, "Augustus"?
@H3itorrrr Honestly, people h who use the internet a lot have probable gone through significant degradation. I can see it happening already to you, Heitor. Please don’t be like them, they are stupid.
@Pedro THank you for the advice. I went and look and deleted random things, and it was the auroras. If it weren't for you telling me to see if anything looks wrong, I would have never fixed! thank you @Pedro!
@Seeya But because I am working on them, I have not yet decided on what *type they are. One of the 'bad' guys are a brutal race known as the Tyrannid Confederacy. The TC are comprised of the Tyrannids, a 14-foot-tall alien. They are very combative and one of the main antagonists of TFF. There are more coming soon, but I am actively writing lore, so I guess this is the part where I say, "Stay tuned"
@Seeya I am still working on them. So, which one are you asking about? The 'good' guys or the 'bad' guys. A major faction that makes a lot of appearances is the USF. USF is the United Solar Federation. It is an alliance between smaller nations, like the Jovian Mandate, a superpower that inhibits the gas giants of Sol. Mars is Ares, and it has its own government.
@Pedro Hmm, ok. I still do not remember the being the dark spots though. Sadly, I do not have a backed up version, and since I did put a lot of things on here, it is going to be a pain. I have thinking on recreating this to see what, like you said, to see the difference. Thanks for the advice, ill let you know in advance.

1.1 years ago@Dyeraerospace it doesn't
1.1 years ago@BmnkRocketIndustries No
1.1 years ago@AlphaAreospace what program do you use to draw?
1.1 years ago@BmnkRocketIndustries you can’t just create a new game only on a planet. There needs to be more
1.1 years ago@BmnkRocketIndustries I want to create and fix things, not destroy or break things.
1.1 years ago@BmnkRocketIndustries I can’t, it’s already fixed.
1.1 years agoOk @Seeya , why did you delete your projects forum and the other planets, Orman and Columbus? I have Tlip, Darus, Marco, Orman, and Columbus, in case if you need them back if you don’t have the files. Just, why did you delete those posts?
+1 1.1 years ago@BmnkRocketIndustries No, because I fixed it!
1.1 years ago@ChaseWilsons thanks
1.1 years ago@heitorM Kerbol system is similar to Sol. You are making a Sol based system. Sol like star, 4 rocky planets, moons too
1.1 years ago@heitorM I know how to make barycenters
1.1 years agoNice. What do you mean by “Kerbol-like” system?
1.1 years agoNice
1.1 years agoYou can go to Postimages.org

1.1 years ago@heitorM Thanks! I am trying to sound unique and not ‘generic’. Generic names are like names with ius, us, or, or is. Thanks for the suggestions though!
1.1 years ago@heitorM Yeah, I liked Arkkana, and I still want the name to be remembered. So this, Arkkanian!
1.1 years ago@heitorM no name for now, but I am thinking of names with an S, Z, C, N, or L
1.1 years ago@heitorM Thanks. The possessive pronoun for Augustus is still called “Arkkanian”
1.1 years ago@heitorM ya. I also made one already, “Kaotetra”, a cool G-Type star. The 5th one, is a k star.
1.1 years ago@Seeya Bye friend!
+1 1.1 years agoAlso,

+1 1.1 years ago@BmnkRocketIndustries It’s ok, it’s fixed! 👍
1.1 years ago@CloakPin thanks
1.1 years ago@CloakPin Yeah but my main goal is to be unique
1.1 years ago@H3itorrrr Yes.

1.1 years ago@Seeya Thank you. I mean, at least it might sound... nicer?
+1 1.1 years ago@Seeya Yeah, but seriously, do you prefer Augustus or Arkkana? Personally, I like both, but I want to avoid copyright strikes.
+1 1.1 years ago@Seeya I know, but when I planned on changing the names, you told.me that names that normally end with -ius, -is, -ion, -on, or other things like that, they sound too 'generic'. 1.1 years agoVortis is fixed!
It was the auroras that somehow made it do “the funny”! Thanks to @Zenithspeed and @Pedro for helping!

1.1 years agoTFF stuff also count
1.1 years ago@Seeya I have a feeling of sadness? I loved your planets, and I hope one day, you will start gaining determination and zeal.
