History:
Back in the latter half of the fifties, the USAF had two major problems, A: What to do with the increasingly obselete, but expensive, B-29s and B-50s which were being replaced by jets with higher range and payload, and B: how to feed the new gas guzzlers mid-flight to increase their range. So Boeing proposed the KB-29/KB-50 solution, which was to modify existing B-29s/B-50s into flying gas stations. The aircraft you see here is a KB-50 J model (with the hybrid configuration, and the boom from the KB-29)
Controls: All are labeled, & to control the boom, use slider 2
Notes:
- super back heavy for some reason, likes to bounce on the ground
- really enjoys veering to the right during takeoff, so expect ugly takeoffs
- dont exceed 200 m/s or wings will implode and you’ll end up in a unhappy mood
- for optimised autopilot cruising, set it at 20-30 degrees with throttle at 90-95%
- have fun flying
