Despite seeming wierd, Etos is a semi earth like world, its only similarity being its liquid water oceans and thats about where it stops. Scientists arent too sure about etos's mointain ranges, some believe that the mountains fromed from some low velocity asteroids/planetismals of high size and mass which formed the large mountains, as well within these mountains there were some oddities in composition when compared to mainland Etos supporting this claim. Some argue that they formed from chaotic tectonic activities during its early life which does make sense judging by time period, however, these mountains are larger and dont follow a particular pattern like any tectonically active world. Judging by composition this world had formed in the habitable zone, however, during formation, like most worlds its orbit was gravitationally tampered with by larger bodies hence making it have a highly eccentric orbit making it have a bit of every regions minerals, except, it oddly didnt pick up metals and leaves scientists rather baffled, it was then slingshot by Ychelos and accellerated by zonkalym and Gredella and finally ended up in the refenka system. Upon the public hearing about this, there are a select few rough-tug Terrians (who most likely are boozeheads or clinically insane) who think that they can just settle this world...no one knows how they can achieve this, however they are being popularized and more people are joining their vague movement. guess you have to wait until 1.2 to find out what happens. This world also doesnt show any sign of native life due to lack of silicate and carbon.
