13th planet from ArTis (Arventhor-Tempris), Lies beyond the orbit of Oranis.
Durranaeas, also known as Antarius XII (called “Darrus” by the Hypereans), is the last planet of the Antarius System, along with being the smallest gas giant. Its size lies between that of Hyperius, and Dommar. Its iconic purple color stems from the high concentration of argon and xenon. It should also be noted that its rings are very expensive. Though Arkkanna's rings are larger, Durranaeas' rings could rival Tarsaeas'. Because it is so small and far away from ArTis, its moons are few and are much smaller. Though one could say that Dommar has roughly the same amount of moons, Durranaeas' are icy and small, comparable to that of Enceladus from the Solaris System.
Lore:
Durranaeas is is the farthest planet from ArTis. It is so far, that the light dims on its surface. Durranaeas also has four small moons, 3 of which are icy and 1 is rocky. Durranaeas also has large, spectacular rings that are purple. The color of Durranaeas comes from the concentration of argon and xenon in the atmosphere, giving it its iconic purple color. Durranaeas has a very windy and turbulent atmosphere, resulting in much longer and straighter bands. Because of these fast-moving winds and Durranaeas' distance from ArTis, the temperature is extremely cold. Because of this, it is uncommon to see argon ice shards, as argon has a melting point of roughly ~84k. This is slightly higher than the average temperature of the planet. It should also be taken into consideration that there are some strange ices in the rings too. Though there are residual amounts of argon-ice in them, some other compound-based ices can include ammonia-ice and methane-ice (deepfriedfrenchtoast I swear if you come to me saying this is wrong, I'm gonna lose it).
The moons of Durranaeas are strange and contain features that puzzle scientists, like higher gravity in certain places, blast marks, and large craters sitting on the icy moons, with Zibrænius containing the largest crater. Unlike the other moons around ArTis, they are not as large. This is because of the lower material content in the outskirts of ArTis, which led to the development of small, non-geologically active moons. Talvolla, the closest moon to Durranaeas, is the most geologically active moon, with large cryovolcanoes and geysers spewing out water from its subsurface salty ocean. About its subsurface ocean, it has high ammonia levels, so the likelihood of life is very low, and may never come to be. Zibrænius, despite being the only rocky moon in the Durranian System, is "dead" and has basins and cracks of cooled-down lava from its early ages. The other two moons, Astrinda and Mebos, are binary and also orbit the farthest. They do not orbit relatively close compared to most binary moons, but they are close enough that if you were on their surface, one moon would be larger than Durranaeas.
Now you may be wondering if this planet had anything to do with Hyperean mythology or the Hyperants. It kind of does, but its legend is not widely known, nor does it resemble anything. Durranaeas was, however, named after its discoverer, Darran. Darran helped the discovery of the celestial bodies in the Antarius System, but he is widely known for discovering Durranaeas first. The moons were also named after his four children. It is unknown if he partook in the Aurean Great War, but old records and files say otherwise. Aside from that, his legacy will be forever remembered for his contribution to the discovery of the other planets in the Antarius System when the Hyperean Civilization was relatively new.

@Tallisar yeah I tend to do that a lot. Though i cant really think of a simpler way to achieve this aggressive purple color.

@deepfriedfrenchtoast That could also work. Since other purple/violet compounds whould form in the atmosphere or due to some other process...... but I think we are overthinkng this a little 🤧

@Junkthunder @Tallisar Maybe something like Iodine or a compound with iodine forming snowflake-like crystals in the atmosphere, though theres a problem of how the metal containing crystals formed, when all the heavy metal should have fallen out of the atmosphere. There are also some other metal complexes that have a strong purple color, like ammonium manganese(III) pyrophosphate for example.

@Zenithspeed if the particles were extremely small that might work.... but Iodine vapor is really clearly purple/violet. While solid iodine is just metallic. Maby something like that could work 🤔

@Junkthunder If only it didnt turn into a solid at temps below 184 C.

@deepfriedfrenchtoast Maby like Iodine gas could make it look purple 🤧

@Tallisar that's good bro! Thx for the info, I think I might just type long descriptions for planets in Samsung notes the copy and paste so that my spelling doesn't get terrible lol, but thx! Also dope as heck planet!
