An unremarkable ball of ice, that is also the first planet of the Ulysses Y system.
There is a high probability of a subsurface ocean but noone really cares. We got more important shit to deal with.

@heitorM Fun fact; this was almost a water planet and whatnot, but it orbits around a brown dwarf, an old one at that so it wouldn't make sense for it have liquid water unless it was really close

Not bad for a unremarkable snowball, it may boost tourism due to terrain and looks lol

@HighNeurosurgeon i am planning to use cubic fractal more too, right now i'd say my percentages are like 90% perlin, 3% value, 1% cubic, 6% other (e.g. cellular (for terrain cracks and stuff))

@Zenithspeed real. I use cubic fractal alot, it's like the scrawny of the two. it's a really weak noise but I think that's what makes it so good. it's natural

value fractal is overused and it looks way too artificial so you need at least one domainwarp for it to look normal and even then it looks pretty wack
perlin fractal is also overused, but for good reason this time, it actually looks fairly natural (provided you don't royally F up the lac and/or gain) and is overall just really versatile
and then we get to cubic fractal, the forgotten child that no one uses, even though it's pretty nice and basically like perlin's alt account, it looks similar but the only problem is that it doesn't seem to like power noises (which can be partially remedied by remaps and stuff) -

@Tallisar I thought I'd be overusing them but honestly I think nothing else would've done it justice (except maybe value fractal ridged multi but who gives a shit about value fractal) in making icy ridges

@HighNeurosurgeon thanks man
