Also @HighNeurosurgeon, if you added height to it (using either (a) generate height or (b) basic arithmetic), you could have made volumetric clouds.

@Zenithspeed I was working on a planet that has nothing to do with gas giants, a few domain warps and playing around with fractal warps and I eventually got bands. and then some refining and polishing rough edges I got this. Still not as good as I'd like it to be though.
