this refenkan moon is often referred to as the "Interstellar kitchen" not because it has a diverse biosphere (which spoiler alert, it doesnt), rather due to its high underwater volcanic activity which literally make the seas boil (fortunately the galaxy is free) in a sense, its seas would normally cook the average human up in a matter of several 10s of seconds, which isnt really good for landing or operations. Scientists propse that if we want to study it, we should coat outposts in strong heatshields in order to keep safe and have heat resistant bio suits (bio suits are made out of specially bred muscle cells which form absolutely thick tissues and in this case, will be genetically modified to be heat resistent). This world seems to have formed in the outer regions, hence its high sea level, however, it formed with a rather unstable core hence the high volcanic activity, there is no real valueble metals or anything, hence mining ops arent going to occur.
