SD 1592 b "Utopia"
A superhabitable planet with 2 moons. Unusual pigments, similar to the ones over on Mortan's Merak, paint the vegetation a bright orange color. It was the first superhabitable planet discovered, and has numerous mountain ranges, beaches, and cliffs, providing scenic views. Unlike what was hypothesised of superhabitable worlds (several minor continents on a large ocean), Utopia generally has a balance of both land area and water, though it is easily possible for it to be the exception to the rule, as other superhabitable worlds have not been found yet.
The planet is home to the Utopia Project, an attempt to maximize quality of life and achieve something close to a utopistic society (obviously), without going full circle back into a dystopia. It involves 20 million human and 5 million extraterrestrial volunteers alongside several thousand paid staff members. The project has been in development limbo for some time, only having a spaceport, one city, and two villages, and was heavily criticized for not living up to its purpose, but it was recently bought by Zenith. The cosmic entity plans to heavily overhaul it to fulfill the original goal and greatly expand the project, such as making the city less boring, increasing road speed limits and safety, implementing other forms of transport such as railways and ships, and increasing the quality of life further. One of the main changes would be to completely rebuild the city, as it has recieved many complaints for its monotonous appearance.
Zenith, in collaboration with the ILBC, has also set up full protection for Utopia, which includes environmental protection (mainly for restricting large businesses, — people are still allowed to pick up flowers or build a house) and a PWD system which can remotely disable weapon systems of almost any spacecraft nearby and also has Zenith-made jammers and weapon redirectors.
While a true utopistic world is impossible, with the cosmic entity's effort, one will be able to get quite close to it on this planet.
Blatantly inspired by retro video game Utopia: The Creation of a Nation
Featuring multiple roads (including multiple bridges and a tunnel), 3 settlements, a semi-detailed launch site, and epic views. It's the most "packed" planet in all of ZG2, and easily the most resource-consuming.
extra pics, because i thought it would be possible to add extra pics to planet posts (like with star systems) but nope
