Alternatives to Electric Motors

Batteries are heavy, and not every craft or vehicle needs to be electric. I've read a couple of suggestions here for things like procedural internal combustion engines for cars, and I think that's a great idea. I'd like to see the same but applied to anything you'd like to spin really fast. Maybe a procedural internal combustion engine part with different base configurations, such as straight, v, radial, w, and boxer. In addition, maybe a procedural turbofan engine of some kind. I just want to take jet fuel and make stuff spin with it man.
