PROJECT UPDATES | NOV 27, 2021
After months of work, the development of the ATV (Alpha Transfer Vehicle) has been completed. Alpha, iSpace's orbital transfer vehicle and satellite platform is designed to carry multiple small payloads into different orbit.
OVERVIEW
The following are some details of the spacecraft:
- Control: Ship with Fourth generation fully autonomous flight system
- Payload: Carry up to 150 kg of customer satellite payload to orbit.
- Propulsion: 500+ m/s delta-V for required orbit correction (Altitude change/ Inclination chage).
- Multiple deployments: deploy multiple payloads to different orbit.
- Power: Battery and solar arrays with power available for hosted payload use.
THE MOST LAUNCH OPTIONS
ATV is designed to interface with most launch vehicles via a 24" interface port. This includes iSpace's Beta, ISX's Eagle 6, Philippine Pacific Space's Resilience, and others.
WEN RELEASE?
Team is going to deploy the second ATV to orbit on iSpace's next Rideshare mission, Wandering in Orbit. If everything goes well, ATV will be released by the end of the year.
