Our upcoming launch vehicle, Eagle 5, will be a fully-reusable launch vehicle. This is SN7, our first successful hop test vehicle, validated our second stage’s ability to preform the flip maneuver and preform a propulsive landing on a pad. With the success, we will move forward with the rest of the launch vehicle, and eventually, ITF-1, Eagle 5’s first flight.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Launch up to around 1200m using the T-Vac engine. Shut down T-Vac via AG 5. Activate RCS, AG 6, and AG 7. Flip the vehicle. Descend until at around 400m, then full throttle all TRL-97 Retro Rockets. Just before touchdown, activate AG 8, Landing Legs. Enjoy and stay tuned for more updates/posts for Eagle 5!

@AstrumY, After re-entry, grid fins deploy and the stage descends upside down. The 4 TLR-97 Retro Rockets then fire, slowing the stage down as the gird fins guide it to the pad. Just prior to landing, the legs deploy and a (hopefully) successful touchdown occurs.

@OrionRBX, ya, I did that so the Talon Vac wouldn’t endure re-entry heat. And the legs could be shorter.
