@SelectAKey okay I reworked the entire thing. Took all night for me. Lol. Just uploaded it. Cheers and talk to ya later. Oh special note! DONT as in do not hit AG 5 or 6. Lol.

@SpaceChimp1 yeah definetly in space so you not fighting gravity to rotate the pieces.

I have been playing with the colours a bit. Is why they may appear too flashy. But really pretty in space. Made them glitter or seem holographic even.

@SelectAKey I don't think so as the gyros would have to be angled in different directions and i think it would fight against itself. Unless certain ones were shut down while others operate. Hmm. It may just be safer to play with this cube in space until we work it out. Lol or water. I'm putting faces on each of the blocks now for the sides and corners. Kinda consuming with multiple colors on same block.

@SelectAKey that sounds feasible. Shall I upload an essentially finished cube and see if it can be done? I already have the most of it put in place. Just need to decide weather or not its powered by monopropellant or by battery.

@SpaceChimp1 well i can set up the switches but controlling individual parts. like undocking ports. i dont know how to do that yet. i wonder if powering the rotator and docking ports on the same AG would work? so technically would only need the six AG's

@SelectAKey lol, I like the way you think. Now to finally dive into a crash course on programming and everything with it. Never done anything on the game like that before.

@SpaceChimp1 you could use AGs and only activate which layer spins and use the cardinal directions as rotate and radial in out with prograde and retro maybe spins perpendicular directions? and unless said AG is active all corresponding connections are locked. also to save on programming. have it so one AG is always active

@SelectAKey I suppose if I had to i could use a "block in track" system where grooves dictate direction and hold. Using the ...wait. WAIT A minute! What about using the RCS's for rotation action? Would need them to stop accurately though. & would be a lot, lot more parts for the tracks navigation system.

@SpaceChimp1 yeah six groups two directions. the problem will be resetting the rotators without rotating the block otherwise everytime you turn on a previous moved groupd it will revert back to original position. once again good luck cause your certainly gonna need it for this one.

@AstronautPlanes thank you. I'm hoping it will not explode when finished. Everything seems to do that lately. Lol

@SelectAKey exactly what I was thinking or perhaps I could set the motors to work in AG groupings. There's only 6 rotations right? So 6 AG groups . You would have to toggle each rotation on or off after each turn i think but the theory is sound. What do ya think?

good luck. working out the mechanics so only certain rotators move certain blocks may prove to be extremely difficult. may have to use docking ports to dock and undock before every move so that you only move one row or column at a time.
@SpaceChimp1 lol
