Auto Credit Based on FoxtrotTheSergal's saturn v

  • no mod has been used for the creation of this vehicle *

AG-1=abort system
AG-2=parachutes
AG-8=apollo module RCS
AG-9=lander RCS
slider-1=lander legs
slider-2=apollo antenas

I replicated this one for the 50th anniversary of the misison apollo 11, it has the necessary fuel to land on the moon and return

to the seems there is an error in the new update which is that you can not change the chip to solve it you must load an auto save

When you return to orbit you must be very careful or you may lose control

@MB777 well, in order to go to the moon, you need at least 9400 Dv to even reach Earth orbit. Even then, it still takes around 7200 Dv to perform the intercept, landing, and return. If you can't even make it to orbit, you have no chance of going to the moon, and from the Apollo 8 badge showing their trajectory, they don't go straight to the moon, they first get into orbit, then perform an injection burn to intercept the moon's orbit and arrive at the moon's orbit right as the moon crosses paths with the capsule's trajectory, which first requires the Saturn's lower 2 stages to push it into a stable low Earth orbit.

Also, the last use of the Saturn V in was used to put Skylab into orbit, aka a LEO space station, so you are also wrong about it not being used for LEO operations.

TLDR: You MUST be first go into LEO in order to properly intercept the Moon, and the last flown Saturn was a LEO only, putting Skylab into orbit, thus Saturn V was a LEO operating heavy lift, able to take 250,000 lbs into LEO.

@ASMRI8 Ignore that part and just download for mobile (unless you're on Mac).

@br0then The Saturn V wasn't used to orbit, it was used to land on the moon and orbit around it to make a "gravity slingshot" to give it more force to get it back to Earth safely.

How were you able to place the command module above the LEM with only a fairing between them?

Aya inişe kadar sorun yok. Fakat aydan yükselen araç dengesiz olduğundan dönüyor. Onlarca kez denememe rağmen çakıldım. Ağırlık merkezi ile itiş merkezı hizalı değil.

Very nice work, was able to land on the moon, orbit, dock and return. Just enough full to do it too. I adjusted the staging order for LEM to detach from booster before the command module separation. Makes docking with the LEM a lot more tricky but its doable. Thanks again.

Nice, but it is difficult to dock to LEM when going to moon, I select the option to turn to the docking port and the RCS system start maneuvering, at a certain point, one thruster fires and I start to go away...

Amazing rocket, but how do I get the LEM out of the rocket after docking? I've tried almost everything and it doesn't seem to work...

This is a fantastic rocket, but man I cannot dock with LEM to save my life. Any trick to it?
