    @NotVedhaspace The engine ignites before the interstage separates, so the second stage calculates its DV based on the mass of the upper stage and the entire weight of the emptied first stage. Even though the 1st stage is discarded immediately after the engines light.

    @NotVedhaspace Well seeing as I launched it successfully in RSS live with video evidence to prove itttt.... I think it can be.

    It says it has 7.1km/s because I have the 2nd stage set up as a hot stage

    But it has 7.1 km/sec delta∆ so it can't be used in rss...
