@Ceya simple: its meant for large operations, its meant for fleets of frigates-battleship class warships, basically, the main railgun cannons are meant to potentially one-shot the enemy flagship (if hit in the correct areas) the missiles are to deal with other threats, the heavy cannons are for other smaller, yet dangerous warships (I.e destroyers), its not very good with fighters, its meant for cap-cap combat.

From a tactical standpoint what’s the point of having high calibre cannons if you have guided missiles?

@Ceya also they are manually manned by players which depends on the player so it couldve been better in the hands of a storm trooper, if not the player gets it right, the probability of it hitting does depend on the player
