* William actually just investigated using a different kind of collider for wheels (in suspension enabled mode), so they should actually behave a bit better than the old single point of contact in SP.
* No plans for adjustable rim/sidewall size.
@MyMessage Do you mean an inline image in the post? Or a post thumbnail? This is a blog post, so it can have a thumbnail. Doing an inline image is done by ![](image url)
@NazyaMilitare It will be better in nearly every way, but we won't have prop engines or challenges. Also, since the game is optimized for making rockets, it won't be quite as easy to make planes, but we'll do our best.
@DarthAbhinav You could, but they don't float and you can't attach parts directly to them. But they can be used as basically a cover on top of your actual floating parts.
@DarthAbhinav Hard to say at this point how easy it would be to port a mod from SP to SR2. It would require the mod author to get the SR2 mod API and adapt their mod to work with that and then rebuild and upload to SimpleRockets.com.
@killerheroYT It's not released yet. At this point we're looking at about June for an early access release on Steam. Mobile release won't be until end of the year / early next year.
@Ryn176 Do you mean add fuel after a craft is already in flight? You can do so via docking with a refueling station, such as what's shown in last week's GIF about docking.
@SledDriver We do want to make players happy, so we may very well end up adding them at some point. However, there are so many other things we want to get to first, weapons are a very low priority.
@Jerba Yes, we will have sliders available for input (or keyboard inputs on PC). We don't have a VTOL thrust port in SR2, but other parts can be tied to those inputs.
@TimeTraveler The command pod has a built-in CMG, which provides easy attitude control. The Nav Sphere will let you easily target the key directions: prograde, retrograde, etc.
@jamesPLANESii fuselages and fuel tanks will be basically the same part and will support textures. Wings don't currently, but we hope to add basic texturing to them too.
@SovietUnion999 @FroggoShibeBirb We don't have a release date yet. We're still aiming for this summer for a Steam Early Access release.
6.6 years ago@exosuit On PC you can control a plane with your keyboard or a joystick. On mobile we will have options for onscreen analog sticks.
6.6 years ago@Jerba yep, they will float
6.6 years ago@IAmMyBoss Yes, there will be a sandbox mode where money doesn't matter.

@WalrusAircraft You'll have to ask @weebabyseamus ;)

@Wadzworth929 we haven't figured out exactly what to do for retractable gear, but we'll think of something.
6.6 years ago@mikethespike056 yep, you can use these on space planes.
6.6 years ago@NazyaMilitare It will be better in nearly every way, but we won't have prop engines or challenges. Also, since the game is optimized for making rockets, it won't be quite as easy to make planes, but we'll do our best.
6.6 years ago@sammyplayzgaming Cargo bays are on the list.
6.6 years ago@BobDaBilder123 Not currently, but we may have a feature like that for sandbox mode.
6.6 years ago@rascle05 We are hoping to launch on Steam Early Access around June.
6.6 years ago@AlmerTheEngineer Yep, it's resizable just like the fuselage part.
6.6 years ago@Brields95 Sure, where it makes sense and when we have time.
6.6 years ago@TheAttiS We are hoping to launch on Steam Early Access around June.
6.6 years ago@DarthAbhinav You could, but they don't float and you can't attach parts directly to them. But they can be used as basically a cover on top of your actual floating parts.
6.6 years ago@chancey21 No, I'm sorry, but we're not planning on adding that for 1.8.
6.7 years ago@GR00G0 We have re-entry effects on the todo list, but it's not done yet.
6.7 years ago@Fjorge They do apply a small force and torque when separated.
6.7 years ago@GINGER01 I believe their max radius is 2.5m and max length is 5m per piece, but you can stack several in series to make them longer.
6.7 years ago@CRJ900Pilot @SuperSix No, but we are looking at June right now for Steam Early Access. That could still slip into the future, there's so much to do!
6.7 years ago@Skywalket You'll have to make your own....Or download someone else's.
6.7 years ago@apfel33 Recovery will be a thing for other parts, but not for fairings.
6.7 years ago@DamonSellars These fairings are non-reusable. Sorry!
6.7 years ago@dimondengineer We don't plan on doing beta testing on mobile until probably late this year or early next year.
6.7 years ago@WNP78 Oh yes, I've considered it many times. I would love to add it, but it's hard to find the time. It's tricky, but should be possible.

6.7 years ago@Chemist2000 But the building part is what makes it fun! If you don't want to build, you can always just download someone else's rocket.
6.7 years ago@A3 I'm not sure I understand exactly how that thing works.
6.7 years ago@misterpotatoes not sure yet, but probably 1GB.
6.7 years ago@MrSilverWolf Pulling in smaller crafts will be possible via subassemblies, we just have to work the bugs out.
6.7 years ago@killerheroYT It's not released yet. At this point we're looking at about June for an early access release on Steam. Mobile release won't be until end of the year / early next year.
6.7 years ago@looppydow Yes on the planets with different gravity. No on the space combat.
6.7 years ago@CaesiciusPlanes It only scales with the area of the wing. Control surfaces currently don't cost any extra money.

6.7 years ago@talavre Both using the Unity game engine (which uses PhysX for physics), but SP used an old version (v5.3.6) and SR2 is currently using v2017.3.
6.7 years ago@TimeTraveler The command pod has a built-in CMG, which provides easy attitude control. The Nav Sphere will let you easily target the key directions: prograde, retrograde, etc.
6.7 years ago@Oski Yep, they're the same ones.
6.7 years ago@Skywalket We have CMGs, which are more powerful than reaction wheels and CMGs are typically used in larger spacecraft.
6.7 years ago@Fjorge No, new part enhancements will not be available in future updates to SP.
6.7 years ago@Skywalket Early Access will only have a sandbox mode where money doesn't matter. The final version will have a campaign mode where money matters.
6.7 years ago@Authros We will have a rotate part tool so you can change their rotation angle. Is that what you're looking for?
6.7 years ago@ZeleninIvan Negative
6.7 years ago@Thederpingmemes no exact date for release, but we are still shooting for Q2.
6.7 years ago@AttestedArk We will have dual, on-screen analog sticks for iOS and Android.
6.7 years ago@Kentheman Nothing can replace SP, but SR2 will be superior to SP in almost every way.
6.7 years ago@jamesPLANESii fuselages and fuel tanks will be basically the same part and will support textures. Wings don't currently, but we hope to add basic texturing to them too.
