@sujun after asking Nathan to change how inputcontrollers work he added a very cool feature, a part always checks the parts in the same group first and then the rest of the craft, so by grouping the parts together you can duplicate them without them breaking or using the incorrect value.
@SelectAKey it already is there, if you clock download in the mod page it redirects you. We are waiting for some features to be added to the planetary systems page to move there
The atmosphere in this game are far from easy to understand. There are lots of parameters that do nothing and things that are very counterintuitive. For the color, the easiest approach may be to go to the waveLength and edit it taking into account that the format is "1-R,1-B,1-G,1-A" and A does nothing.
@Insanity this is how the cliffs look for me, I've seen more people talking about weird edges showing up there but I can't replicate the issue, it may be related to the graphics settings.
@socialist I've been thinking about adding some kind of salt dessert but I'm not sure about where to place it, every time I've tried it felt super weird. You'll have 2 launch locations in 3.1 and the area around the main base is really smooth and flat
@diegoavion84 that's already done in 3.1 (coming soon), you'll have the main base, one in a southern island near the pole and two ships, one to the west and one to the southeast of the base
@sujun solar systems don't work like that, they're stored internally in GameData/CelestialDatabase and in UserData/CelestialDatabase for custom systems you're making
@sujun can you please stop pinging me multiple times? I have a very bussy life and can't answer you instantly.
And also, you had AnotherFireFox answering you, don't be disrespectful to people trying to help.
@sujun as I said, you can't make reliable machineguns, the only reasonable approach would use two parts for every bullet and setting it can be super time consuming
What gun are you talking about when you say "this gun"? I guess that by tanks you mean fuselages, as @NoIDontWanna said it's impossible to have infinite ammo afaik without mods, you can't regenerate fuselages from nowhere.
@TestRunner I'm learning lutherie and carpentry too and yes, it's really hard to know where to stop (right now I'm struggling with time because of it, I'm working on a lot of things at the same time and it's really hard to schedule things)
@TestRunner yes but the resolution is a bit disappointing sadly. The most detailed parts of the data I used have down to 250m of resolution but the distortions of the original data added to the ones on the cube map projection used by the game may reduce it to around 300 or 400m.
I had to make some compromises defining the biomes too and some areas, like the Everest surroundings, look like smooth curves instead of sharp edge mountains. I'll try to use some noise to make it less obvious and it may be possible to use small maps for specific locations but this small level of detail already requires a lot of data.

+1 4.6 years ago@IntegratedSpaceSystems people usually complain about the green being too dark and the ocean too little blue
4.6 years ago@IntegratedSpaceSystems in ESS?
4.6 years ago@undefined1 it's a known issue, it's been fixed in the experimental branch and will come out to the mobile beta soon based on what Nathan has said

4.6 years ago@GrayStar I'm not aware of any solution, I only know how to change the ground color but not the sky dusk color

+1 4.6 years ago@SelectAKey ESS 3.0 is a downloadable system. You'll need to be in the 0.9.3 branch of the game.
4.6 years ago@KraZIvan that has crossed my mind too
+1 4.6 years ago@undefined1 the base is super close to the sea
4.6 years ago@GrayStar no, 1 is equal to 1, the colors are in the 0 to 1 range

4.6 years ago@McDuetchVan as everybody knows Droo is cantonalist
+1 4.6 years ago@RealDavidB that's going to be in RSS
+2 4.6 years ago@Insanity that has to do with how the game renders the terrain, the further you get the bigger are the ""pixels"" so it looks blocky
+1 4.6 years ago@sujun you should upload it with the new method, uploading it in mod posts will soon be deprecated

+1 4.6 years ago@RealDavidB trees are impossible sadly, I only know of one way to add rivers but that implies a lot of lag (RSS will have some rivers though)
What do you mean by more Earth Like?

4.7 years ago@Kishore0115 yes, like ESS. But this system may be too heavy in memory usage for mobile.
4.7 years ago@zhuzhanhao20080228 No, we can't, we're waiting for a feature to be added to the game, it shouldn't exceed 3 weeks
4.7 years ago@Kishore0115 it's going to be a custom solar system
4.7 years ago@Daenerys I hope so, that's one of the things making me wait for the next update

@diegoavion84 I've never been there, but judging on my experience those lines shouldn't exist
