@Shoot2kill My PC isn't good enough to make something of that size. I'm talking about something you can actually drive/pilot in-game. If I had the PC necessary for this I'd totally try it though.
From the FAQ: "When can we expect the mobile (iOS/Android) release?
We will begin development in early 2019. At this point, it is too early to give a release date estimate. Once we’ve started to peel the onion back we’ll have a better grasp on how long it will take to get the mobile version blasting off."
In its current state, SimpleRockets 2 would not run very well on a lot of mobile devices. They still need to get it out of early access, as well as making it able to run smoothly on a mobile device. They've been asked this question probably hundreds of times at this point, and the answer has always been the same.
@Kell I wouldn't say tinkering is dishonorable. It is genuinely useful at times. For example, one could use it to make a large Heat Shield out of an empty fuselage. It has useful properties, but can easily be abused.
@PlanesofJundroo You know there's a suggestions page, right? Speaking of which, @AndrewGarrison could you make my Inflatable Heat Shield suggestion visible?
@mjdfx150529 There's a difference between competition and friendly competition. These are both indie developers, and they have similar games in a similar engine. Just because 2 games are "competitors" doesn't mean they can't help each other out.
@DerekSP I'm not talking about its orbits, those are non-existant. I'm talking about the realism of the stations themselves. You need to be sending resupply missions, expanding the station, replacing crew etc. And the second game seems to improve on it. I agree that SA 2 and SR 2 will probably not compete, I'm just saying that SA does have a bit of realism in it, just not in the orbital mechanics part.
@mjdfx150529 I saw that earlier. To be honest, SR2 and SA 2138 will probably not compete with each other much, if at all. I played the first game a while ago, the gameplay is completely different from that of SimpleRockets. Space Agency is more for realistic Space Stations and such, and it doesn't have proper orbital mechanics, and it looks like 2138 will be no different. They'll both be fun in their own different ways.
That was always there. I believe the colour of the download button changes based on the lart count. The game will be released on mobile in 2019, however I believe that right now they're working on SP 1.8.
What if Philip didn't agree, hmm? What if you tricked him into saying 'Yep' but didn't tell him it was for this deal? I SMELL A CONSPIRACY, @AndrewGarrison!
Amazing! Though, one problem i'm having with this mod is that if I scroll down too much in the overload menu all of the text disappears until I scroll back up and then it suddenly reappears. This is problematic because I can't scroll to the bottom of the text field and modify things below a certain point. Otherwise, great mod! Impressive as always. :) @WNP78
@IAmMyBoss Is the planet that is supposed to be Droo missing all of its surface features? If so, the way I fix that is to download another sandbox that uses the default solar system.
@AndrewGarrison I've launched the game about 5 times since updating and all 5 of them have had the hang. Also, upon actually counting, the hang is only around 2-3 seconds.
@AndrewGarrison The white screen at launch is gone, however there is a black screen at launch for about 5 seconds before the menu screen appears. Here's the output log if necessary.
@pedro16797 Bit of a late response, but when I click on that it prompts me to sign into a Microsoft account. Is there a different link you could provide?
I am as well, but i'm not sure how much help I can be considering the info that has already been provided by other people. Glad it's not just me, though.
@NathanMikeska
5.4 years ago@MarioG Ah. Thanks for the response.
5.4 years ago@MarioG
5.4 years agoThere's a Mods page
5.4 years agoThis seems useful. I'll check this out later. :)
@PorkyClown3 I might be able to do this, but I'll need to practice with making cars first.
5.5 years agoClicky
5.5 years agoThere you go. Now you should be able to post in the videos section. :)
5.5 years ago@SicnarfGhost Clicky
5.5 years ago@Kell @Shoot2kill Sorry, I thought you meant the contents of the update, not the release date.
5.6 years agoRead the Roadmap.
5.6 years ago@marcushouse If you see this, your cover's blown. hehe
5.6 years agoThe timing on this is kinda funny because there's a high chance I'll become a moderator on a different forum today. lol
5.6 years agoWhy not do it legitimately?
5.6 years agoIt costs $15 on Steam. You could have just looked on the steam page..
5.6 years ago@RenxBlake I can't do the Infinity or the Pillar of Autumn because I don't have the skill and my PC isn't good enough.

5.6 years agoHow about a Ghost from the Halo series?
5.6 years agoAre you the one that wrote that one steam review that said that exact thing?

5.6 years agoThey put the FAQ button next to the New Post button for this exact reason.

5.6 years ago@AndrewGarrison The new beta shows the in-game changelog for 0.6.9.2 (the jet engine update) instead of the latest version. Screenshot in this post
5.6 years agoNow do this.
5.6 years ago@PlanesofJundroo You know there's a suggestions page, right? Speaking of which, @AndrewGarrison could you make my Inflatable Heat Shield suggestion visible?
5.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison Ah, thanks. Apologies for my ignorance there. I was tired when I loaded my SR-71 and didn't see that.
5.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison So I can make a steampunk rocket if I wanted to?
5.7 years ago@AndrewGarrison So uh, is the Water fuel type used for anything?
5.7 years agoAt least when it happens to you, the menu buttons still appear so you can change sandboxes to fix it. Not the case for me when it happens...
5.7 years agoThe date is still just 2019. We have no information beyond that.
5.7 years ago@WNP78 True, but he may know someone who could help, which was my main point.

5.8 years ago@NathanMikeska I think a Venus-like planet would be interesting. A moon of Tydos would be cool as well.

P.S: Have you seen my SR-71? It isn't great but I think you'd like it at least a little bit.

5.8 years ago@Planefun Honestly you should be using a controller for planes regardless.
5.8 years ago@iOpportunity The official answer has been stated by Andrew in the past and that answer is some time in mid-late 2019.
5.8 years agoI'm from the future, and I can confirm that this leak was correct. :p
5.8 years ago@pedro16797 Would it be possible to explain how to do that?
5.8 years ago@Shibe Nah, this has happened to me as well. Same number, too.
5.9 years ago@AndrewGarrison Wow! That looks awesome!
