Wheels may be on the right way but if you go to settings look to see if the wheel direction is reversed. Otherwise it could be your pilot orientation which can affect the the nav sphere controls.
I came across the same problem. I just made some custom command pods that have both. There are a lot of capsules for download on the site, including mine, that will help you before we get new command pods. Plus most of the player created builds look cooler than stock and give some good variety in my opinion.

4.8 years agoCould be your pilot orientation affecting your auto pilot. Or your gyro could be underpowered. Difficult to tell with out seeing the craft.
