@AN2Felllla No promises on any of that. We'd like to do all of that, but I can't make promises until after I take my afternoon nap. The materials post was me just testing out a new feedback section of the website that we will use during early access so that players can submit bug reports directly to us.
@Tully2001 Still planning on pricing similar to SimplePlanes. Maybe even less for the initial early access release, but we will increase the price as we continue to add more features throughout early access.
I just gave you the signup bonus, @Caveman999, before refreshing the page and seeing @HellFireKoder's comment. You lucked out here, @Caveman999. Enjoy your bonus.
@Mod Since we don't have humans yet, I guess technically the crafts are already autonomous, but we don't have any concept of antennas or radio communication.
@AN2Felllla We actually are planning on adding a basic computer that is small and easy to hide so advanced players can easily work around it and build their own stuff.
@Why7090 If your mod only consists of scripts, you can spend the majority of your time in VS, but unfortunately you will also need Unity to build the mod.
@FroggoShibeBirb @EternalDarkness @JoshMan We don't have any plans for prop engines at the moment, but we want to make players happy, so we may very well end up porting prop engines from SimplePlanes over at some point.
@Pikapilot Yes, we plan to release on iOS after we finish Early Access on Steam, which will likely be around the end of the year / early next year. It will weigh 0lbs, cost about the same as SP ($4.99), but we've not made any final decisions about that.
@Supercraft888 part of it is the Pixie engine's base and part of it is a tapered fuselage (with a different texture) connected to the main fuselage. Fuselages can have normal maps now, which make them look so much better.
@JPCHZ Yes, we do plan to support this. A lot of players want this feature, and so do I. You can do it to some extent already, but it's not yet fully supported.
@Sharandeep981 That won't be in the core game, but at some point it will be very easy to make your own planets and new engines will be possible via much better modding support in SR2 than what I had in SR1.
@GermanWarMachine @imadium We plan to be able to add, remove, and name activation groups for crafts, so you should be able to support however many you need. However, only the first 6 or so can be tied to a keyboard shortcut.

+2 6.5 years ago@Awsomur He never even complained, but he did go through a lot of deodorant.
+6 6.5 years ago@Chancey21 That's one of the last remaining big tasks before early access.
6.5 years ago@Tully2001 Still planning on pricing similar to SimplePlanes. Maybe even less for the initial early access release, but we will increase the price as we continue to add more features throughout early access.
+1 6.5 years ago@Moosehouse yes, eventually.
+2 6.5 years agoI just gave you the signup bonus, @Caveman999, before refreshing the page and seeing @HellFireKoder's comment. You lucked out here, @Caveman999. Enjoy your bonus.
6.6 years ago@JoshMan yes, there is a warp mode to speed things up.
6.6 years ago@Pikapilot @StarActor159126 unfortunately, iOS doesn't support mods.
6.6 years ago@AN2Felllla yes, you can adjust tires separately from rims.
6.6 years ago@Lyra We are planning tp release on Steam Early Access release this summer.
+3 6.6 years ago@AN2Felllla Yes, tire radius and width are adjustable. Yes, the wings are very basic now. We are hoping to find time to revamp those.
6.6 years ago@JoshMan "Sm-" names are still placeholders at this point.
6.6 years ago@Mod Since we don't have humans yet, I guess technically the crafts are already autonomous, but we don't have any concept of antennas or radio communication.
6.6 years ago@Chancey21 A lot of players want that, so we will most likely add it at some point. It won't be in the first version on Early Access.
6.6 years ago@Jerba Research, science, etc is not ironed out yet. We will start working on that after we release on Early Access.
+1 6.6 years ago@ThePilotDude No sci-fi stuff, but that's what modding is for :)
+1 6.6 years ago@Bmcclory No comment on that. :) That planet in the screenshot is not finished yet but it's still fun to visit.
6.6 years ago@AN2Felllla We actually are planning on adding a basic computer that is small and easy to hide so advanced players can easily work around it and build their own stuff.
6.6 years ago@JohnnyBoythePilot You can upload images along with the craft. We have it set at 5 images for crafts and sandboxes at the moment.
6.6 years ago@TMR9001 You could certainly make probes if you wanted to. Are there any parts, in particular, you would expect to see in a probe?
6.6 years ago@MrTyTheGreat It does not, but I agree that would be cool (and easy) to add.
6.6 years ago@stig27 @DerekSP We are already over our heads in work so we're just focusing on trying to get SR2 out the door before we make any plans like that.
6.6 years ago@Chancey21 Yes, we plan to have a Featured Crafts section. Maybe a Featured Sandboxes section too...
6.6 years ago@WNP78 lol, you hacker!
+1 6.6 years ago@Caveman999 Yes, we already have forums and we will add a mods section at some point.
+1 6.6 years ago@Why7090 If your mod only consists of scripts, you can spend the majority of your time in VS, but unfortunately you will also need Unity to build the mod.
+1 6.6 years ago@Thederpingmemes Please don't abuse the reporting system.
6.6 years ago@SovietUnion999 @FroggoShibeBirb We don't have a release date yet. We're still aiming for this summer for a Steam Early Access release.
6.6 years ago@FroggoShibeBirb @EternalDarkness @JoshMan We don't have any plans for prop engines at the moment, but we want to make players happy, so we may very well end up porting prop engines from SimplePlanes over at some point.
+4 6.6 years ago@Cwillis Yes, we will have some pre-built rockets that come with the game.
+1 6.6 years ago@Pikapilot Yes, we plan to release on iOS after we finish Early Access on Steam, which will likely be around the end of the year / early next year. It will weigh 0lbs, cost about the same as SP ($4.99), but we've not made any final decisions about that.

+1 6.6 years ago@apfel33 yep, we will have an ion engine. The delta-v won't be infinite in SR2, but their Isp is quite high.
+2 6.6 years ago@exosuit On PC you can control a plane with your keyboard or a joystick. On mobile we will have options for onscreen analog sticks.
6.6 years ago@DarthAbhinav Definitely not! More likely it will be the third week of August :D
+3 6.6 years ago@JPCHZ Yes, we do plan to support this. A lot of players want this feature, and so do I. You can do it to some extent already, but it's not yet fully supported.
+3 6.6 years ago@iLikeipads Yep, I missed those! RCS are an important part, I will need to do a post about that soon.
+2 6.6 years ago@JoshMan Off the top of my head, I believe you would only have control over your craft's RCS and engines. That will likely change during early access.
+2 6.6 years agoIt's @Mostly similar to SP while on Smearth.
+4 6.6 years ago@EternalDarkness Our schedule be looking like this.
+5 6.6 years ago@Sharandeep981 That won't be in the core game, but at some point it will be very easy to make your own planets and new engines will be possible via much better modding support in SR2 than what I had in SR1.
+1 6.6 years ago@Bmcclory Probably the same amount with a bigger time gap :(
+1 6.6 years ago@GermanWarMachine @imadium We plan to be able to add, remove, and name activation groups for crafts, so you should be able to support however many you need. However, only the first 6 or so can be tied to a keyboard shortcut.
+1 6.6 years ago@SuperSix Tacks? Do you mean tracks? Dust, probably not.
+2 6.6 years ago@imadium How many do ya need?
+1 6.6 years ago@MarkWatney Best of luck to you, Mark. You better science the sh....stuff out of those potatoes.
+4 6.6 years ago@WeSeekANARCHY Not decided yet on lights. We have experimented a bit with both.
+3 6.6 years ago@Jerba yep, they will float
6.6 years ago@QingyuZhou We're a tiny dev team and it's hard to devote the time to multiple projects at once. We've tried in the past and it just doesn't work.
+1 6.6 years ago@Seanbon007 We don't have solid rocket fuel yet, but when we do, yes they would use the fuselage part and be resizable.
