@jrzspace you need to angle the wings, and the speed of the motor and size of the propellers both count to make it go faster or slower
I believe you also need wing physics on too
It’s a fictional system, but I should be (maybe) able to answer those questions:
Vulco’s lava is 15.6 degrees because it’s water, since lava doesn’t exist in this game…
The rest would probably be theories if you want to think about how it would have actually formed if it was like any other solar system in real life, but otherwise, dev(s) made the planets so they chose how they wanted the planets
@118Industries 3 hours later I’m here, and the post isn’t deleted lol
(Why did I say this? Idrk [>>]) If you want to chat, (I doubt you have an account yet, I’m just pointing it out [sry if wrong]) there’s discord too ;)
@DrexxVolv I had the idea of docking ports too, but the elevator was my final idea
What can also work is a crane, pulling the payload up, the truck backing up to be under the payload, and then lowering
The easiest way just needs a stable place to hang, and a drood or 2
😎
Nice, about your truck loading thing, why don’t you have the droods put the payload on a platform on a piston, elevate the platform to the trucks level, and then push in the truck? Just suggesting ;)
@DrexxVolv I was thinking using pistons on the edges to stabilize
But Idk if it can work, because if the docking ports are contributing to the movement, it won't really work...
@DrexxVolv ok
It uses pistons and sizes down docking ports, I know why it’s happening, I just don’t know how to make it work better… yet (I’ll figure something out as usual lol)
@DrexxVolv 👌👌
The docking procedure isn’t that hard, but it’s not as easy, and it’s a bit of a prototype, so it wobbles pretty easily after docking 🤦 (seeing what the mission is gonna be, that shouldn’t be much of a problem…)
Also, sorry for late response I didn’t really see the notification somehow…
Idrk if this is what your looking for (im having slight trouble understanding your question sry :/), but there's a planet brush to do custom terrain and things like that
@StarbornCelestial1 dont worry, I know the sight lol, ik it’s a great sight :)
It will be great to see it from dragonfly though (yes I’m coming to visit if dragonfly launches, but to visit, not to stay, and ill also ask my drood if he wants to stay)
Welcome to the community :)
3.3 years agoI don’t really have any ideas for you though sry…
?
3.3 years ago@SocialistRepublicKarelia lol
3.3 years ago@jrzspace you need to angle the wings, and the speed of the motor and size of the propellers both count to make it go faster or slower
+1 3.3 years agoI believe you also need wing physics on too
It’s a fictional system, but I should be (maybe) able to answer those questions:
3.3 years agoVulco’s lava is 15.6 degrees because it’s water, since lava doesn’t exist in this game…
The rest would probably be theories if you want to think about how it would have actually formed if it was like any other solar system in real life, but otherwise, dev(s) made the planets so they chose how they wanted the planets
Put wings (not structural panels) on an electric motor, put a fuel tank/strut between them
3.3 years agoI can show a photo if you don’t understand
@RocketScienceCo ok, and yourwelcome
3.3 years agoWe may be searching for a commercial launcher for a certain mission of ours…
We will see 😉
@RocketScienceCo you pinged me but you exceeded the max pings per message, so it didn’t ping me, it’s 3 pings per message
3.3 years agoYourwelcome btw 🙃
@TweedleAerospace 1: ok
3.3 years ago2: 🤔🤨🤔🤨🤔
@TweedleAerospace I was thinking about maybe fall damage killing droods too, but I wasn’t 100% sure
3.3 years ago@TweedleAerospace why did I think that (sry)
3.3 years ago@DrexxVolv 😆🤣
3.3 years ago@118Industries ok, that's a pretty good idea
3.3 years ago@DrexxVolv yep
3.3 years ago@DrexxVolv your forgetting they take heat damage...
+1 3.3 years agoAnd pressure damage (crush height on stars and gas giants)
So they aren't exactly invincible
Lol
3.3 years agoI must agree, tethers can be fun
@118Industries somehow I didn't see this ping facepalm
3.3 years agoYou can also try more than one piston, one on each corner as well as the center
👌
3.3 years agoJust saying this, but if you need any help, I’m here too ;)
Gl on that redesign :)
@TweedleAerospace yes, it’s pretty confusing, or at least they can rename it to something like “craft suggestions” or something like that

@118Industries it seems to confuse people… the devs are most likely to see this if you put it in the suggestions page
3.3 years agoSuggestion?
3.3 years agoIf so, did you put this in suggestions page?

3.3 years agoLol
@TweedleAerospace you brought me here…

@DrexxVolv oof... sad
3.3 years agowell…
;)...
@DrexxVolv lol

@DrexxVolv ?

3.3 years ago@DrexxVolv oof...
3.3 years ago@DrexxVolv your bored... aren't you?
3.3 years agoLol
@DrexxVolv 🤦lol
3.3 years ago@DrexxVolv yea…
3.3 years ago@DrexxVolv you kinda gave me an idea but idk if it will work…
3.3 years agoAnd It’s not really with shocks…
I have used them before a little though
@DrexxVolv what do you mean?
3.3 years agoThe in game part or…
(🤦)
@DrexxVolv lol

3.3 years agosend a postcard lol
@StarbornCelestial1 ok
3.3 years ago;)
@DrexxVolv yep
3.3 years agoI’m building the command module and lander so those won’t have much chance of failure,
But the docking procedure…
ok...
+1 3.3 years agostill wants to yeet a dragonfly there lol
@DrexxVolv yeah...
3.3 years ago@DrexxVolv 🤦 lol
3.3 years agoBesides, not everyone’s gonna fail…
