@LiamW i have added side boosters, but for lifting heavy rockets, only the apex will do on side boosters, and then they are too big, looks odd. it would take waaay too many mage I engines on a side booster
@LiamW I can XML mod, but i really do not want to. I'm trying to keep my rockets compaign mode friendly. And adding tons of engines isn't working well either. eventually i run out of space to add more on the first stage.
@MyMessage hey, you're good at making up agency names. could ya help me think of a name for mine? i plan on building rockets for others that want to launch something but can't build a rocket that can get the task done
@uzair1903 @DPSAircraftManufacturer Parachutes are a better choice. Why would you need a rocket that can land upright using engines? tbh it's just a waste of money. they could be using the extra fuel needed for landing to get out of the atmosphere, plus, you need a ship to be there for them to land on, and also, the chances of it exploding while landing are much higher than if it was using a parachute to land.
@Elonmuskjr while KSP is great, it isn't all that customizable when it comes to building. SR2 is going to be like SP, where pretty much ANYTHING is possible to build. The last time i tried building a giant spaceship in KSP, after hours of just figuring out ways to build it in a game that is not all that customizable, i tested it, only to see, as soon as it spawns, it fell apart and exploded. This was due to KSP's horrible part connections.
I'm going to first play around with stuff in SR2. then i'm going to build a massive spaceship, put it in orbit around Droo, and build more, eventually having a whole fleet of giant spaceships

6.6 years ago@LiamW Those raptor engines produce more thrust than the apex. it just would not work. I'm just stuck, no idea what to do
