I haven't seen it before, but when I looked it up, I thought it was funny that this post was the third link down. The first two were google play download things.
If you go into the fuel tank performance details it will show you its boom power at full capacity. The boom power does decrease as fuel decreases, so you might want a fuel tank without any link to an engine.
For knowing how much you need, it should tell you in the contract description, and for quick comparison you may just want to write it down.
Depends on the size of the craft, for large things I actually prefer going pure hydrogen in the nuclear engine (Not super refuellable bc not super popular in community). DON'T MAKE IT PART OF YOUR CRAFT INTENDED TO USE OUT OF ORBIT, it's like trying to take off with ion engines. For mid sized things I use a Kerlox first stage, and Hydrolox everything else. For small things I experiment and have fun.
I looked at those first, and I'm still tinkering with that, but the color I'm inputting to the things and what I'm getting seems counter-intuitive, I was looking for help understanding how Colors, Biomes and Elevation interact with one another.
So from what I can gather of your posts you seem to be a new player. I would recommend a challenge I am doing for myself to help learn the most efficient flight paths and rockets. Feel free to change this to make it easier, harder or whatever, but what I am doing is building a first stage reusable rocket that when stacked has an ingame price tag of less than or equal to 5 million dollars excluding other infrastructure. It also has to get a 1,500 kg payload into low orbit. (I made my payload a disposable camera satellite feel free to do whatever you want with yours.) I recommend using this to find your style of rocket building, favorite engines, common sub assemblies etc.
I tried this by connecting stupid amounts of floppy hinge rotators together rotated 90 degrees relative to the previous, but this is stupid expensive, pretty weak tensile wise, and is forced to spawn a max length. The way I got around this was a DIY winch that tends to get angry in zero g (my rope would catch the sides usually)
@NebulaSpaceAgency when I painted my rocket it looked nice, but i can see how my color choice can seem that way. I guess what I was asking for was ideas, because I can make it look nice and professional once I know what I want the general idea to be.

2.1 years agoHow long will I have to build a satellite?

2.2 years agoI thought it was to show the most recent update but that makes a lot more sense...
@Semaj324 try adjusting your derivative on the PID after you get it to that point

2.7 years ago@SamTheFox Thank you, but I checked out his youtube and he does not have any tutorials, which is what I'm looking for.

3.1 years ago@NeoStarAerospace yes. I don't know what I want to be my logo.
3.1 years agoAlso, how do I add more tags? I can't find out how to add more than the 1st mandated one.
3.1 years agoIt makes sense, so long as you are below light speed enough that moving forward to catch up is not impossible (even if it takes a stupid long time)
3.1 years agoI think this is AWESOME! Maybe even an ability to "tag" certain ones that you like so that they do not disappear?
3.1 years agothis is going to sound weird, but maybe a type how many sliders you want in the command pod edits?
