I feel like the geopolitical divide by a lot of the nations in droo is much stronger than it has to be, leading to wars and destruction, so what we really need is unification under one country, one constitution, and one continent.
@Xstep365 maybe you just have contractors and contract fulllfillers. The contractors get the main revenue for the mission. the contract fulfilled assemble, fly, and return the the sandbox with the completed requirements, and they pocket the extra cash from the budget, so that cheaper rockets would be rewarded.
I love the idea, but I think there needs to be a demand (assuming contractors also pay money). Why waste 12 million dollars to get a rocket into orbit for no reason or profit. I think there should be a specific reward system for different types of missions. Scientific and/or manned missions would return the most money, but manned missions only return half unless they are returned or have an ability to return home, and scientific missions could only collect money once per location. Communications would not have a catch, but would significantly reduce the payoff. Locations would be ranked by difficulty, and the rank would work as a multiplier for revenue.
Here's a rough draft for costs:
* 30 Mil for a round manned mission
* 25 Mil for a Scientific mission
* 10 Mil for a Com mission
* LDO would be X 1
* Geo would be X 1.2
* Luna would be X 2
* Cylero would be X 4
* tydos would be X 8
* Urados would be X 12
There would be a rule/contract page, where people would post they're contracts and people would post links to their sandboxes with info about the contract, and people would reply with updated sandboxes and craft files they used for the contract. I don't know how money would be kept track of, maybe there could also be a "Bank" page where everyone comments 1 comment of how much money they have, and they edit it when they're amount changes. Maybe a discord would be easier.
@crowxe pops yes I figured it out right after I posted that comment, the only problem is that engines take time to throttle so I gotta give it time to safely start up the engines, but that gets me anywhere from 25-100 meters off the ground, so I have to put a loop that the end that basically limits the vertical velocity until touchdown. It works, but it's not stylish at all.
@JastroOne1 I just realized, the black spots have little orange spots, which I can assume are volcanoes. Will there be liquid magma lakes in there, or is that just a surface design?
I keep Getting an error that reads "Assets\Scripts\Craft\Parts\Modifiers\RTGScript.cs(13,30): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'FlightFrameData' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)" whenever i try to saave the script. Any idea on how to fix it
well, the main feature that I like the most about it is the colonization and multiplayer. the sci-fi parts just seem a little weird for a game like ksp to me. ill probably stick to sr2.
@AndrewGarrison so would that work if I just pasted it into the parts script? Also how would I be able to just add certain fuels? Sorry for all the questions.
Would a bicopter designed for cylero be allowed in the compotition? It can be tuned down to be used on droo but works the best on cylero, because there is less drag so it can pick up insane velocities.
wait im confused, whats in the solar system?

+1 5.1 years ago@Pedropuglia There are no issues that only occur on mobile (unless it's an issue with mobile controls) they're for the most part the same game.

5.3 years agoIs there a function I could use to add/subtract from a crafts fuel in a parts script? Im sorta new to this so any advice will help.
5.3 years ago@TurboSnail but it's not supposed to be released until 2020
