@IAmMyBoss Is the planet that is supposed to be Droo missing all of its surface features? If so, the way I fix that is to download another sandbox that uses the default solar system.
@AndrewGarrison I've launched the game about 5 times since updating and all 5 of them have had the hang. Also, upon actually counting, the hang is only around 2-3 seconds.
@AndrewGarrison The white screen at launch is gone, however there is a black screen at launch for about 5 seconds before the menu screen appears. Here's the output log if necessary.
@pedro16797 Bit of a late response, but when I click on that it prompts me to sign into a Microsoft account. Is there a different link you could provide?
I am as well, but i'm not sure how much help I can be considering the info that has already been provided by other people. Glad it's not just me, though.
From the FAQ: "When can we expect the mobile (iOS/Android) release?"
"We will begin development in early 2019. At this point, it is too early to give a release date estimate. Once we’ve started to peel the onion back we’ll have a better grasp on how long it will take to get the mobile version blasting off."
So there's your answer.
@AndrewGarrison So what's the story behind that "Can't name planets Uranus, Smearth, Smoon, Smars or Smupiter" bug? A: How did it get discovered and B: How did it even happen?
Looking at the screenshot there, it looks like your Venus is actually colder than the real one. On yours it says 214.6°C whereas it appears actual Venus is about 462°C.
You need to download them in-game. Make sure you have the Steam Overlay enabled on your copy of SimpleRockets 2 by right clicking it in your Library and clicking 'Properties', from there you should see if the Overlay is enabled.
Do you have the turning angle on them set to anything higher than 0? If it's 0, that's probably why it won't work. If that's not the case, I don't know how to help you.
You put them on the bottom of a fuel tank so you can put more than one engine on the tank. Use Symmetry mode (M key in designer) to evenly place multiple of them.
@Jetspeed1001 Fuel adapters can be put anywhere on the bottom of a fuel tank, whereas engines cannot. You put fuel adapters anywhere on the bottom of the tank, and then you can put engines on the Fuel Adapters.
@Jetspeed1001 Fuel adapters are a very handy part that allows you to put multiple engines on a single fuel tank. Sometimes it's better to use a bunch of Merlin engines instead of 1 Apex engine.

P.S: Have you seen my SR-71? It isn't great but I think you'd like it at least a little bit.
@AndrewGarrison I've launched the game about 5 times since updating and all 5 of them have had the hang. Also, upon actually counting, the hang is only around 2-3 seconds.
5.8 years agoI'm only slightly dissapointed my SR-71 wasn't in the Jet Engine trailer..
Starts crying in corner

5.8 years ago@Planefun Honestly you should be using a controller for planes regardless.

@iOpportunity The official answer has been stated by Andrew in the past and that answer is some time in mid-late 2019.
5.8 years agoI'm from the future, and I can confirm that this leak was correct. :p
5.8 years ago@pedro16797 Regarding that last bit, i'll do it later but to my knowledge that's for game suggestions, not website suggestions. Thanks anyway.
+1 5.8 years ago@pedro16797 Would it be possible to explain how to do that?
5.8 years ago@Shibe Nah, this has happened to me as well. Same number, too.
5.9 years ago@AndrewGarrison Wow! That looks awesome!
5.9 years agoOh no, whatever shall our dear mobile users do? Thank you for answering a question that has absolutely not been answered tons of times!
5.9 years ago@Tully2001 Actually, I think "Suggested" means it hasn't been looked at, and Active means it is being voted for.
5.9 years agoNASA gets like 0.5% of the USA's yearly budget..
5.9 years agoWhat if in the future you put pistons on the sides of the lander in case this happens again?
+3 5.9 years ago@AndrewGarrison I'd do it but I just bought SP on PC so i'm testing that out. lol
+2 5.9 years agoI did this before you even posted this. Nifty 58% discount on SP. :)

+2 6.0 years ago@tsampoy Uranus's rings aren't super easily visible if I remember correctly. Did you know that Jupiter has rings as well?

6.0 years agoWell, there is an unlimited fuel easter egg but I don't think anyone has found it yet.
6.0 years ago@Nikaloopairways Career mode most likely won't be coming until full release, which is supposed to be some time in 2019.
6.0 years ago@Chancey21 That's what I do.

6.0 years agoThat second Soviet rule makes no sense, as they went to Venus several times.

+2 6.0 years ago@AndrewGarrison I was looking in the Settings.xml file and found something that said "WorkshopMods". Steam workshop support confirmed? ;)
6.0 years agoI got it like a week or two ago without the bonus. Congrats!
6.0 years agoTechnically the game already has modding support as there is a Mod API, however you cannot share mods as of yet.

6.0 years agoAlso, yes it is. Mars in real life has a fairly eccentric orbit, so that is accurate.

6.0 years ago@eonn44 Droo's atmosphere is actually a little over 100KM up. However, going above 60KM during Re-entry is not super effective anyways.
6.0 years agoIt certainly feels less buggy now, however I still sometimes cannot make maneuver nodes near my Apoapsis and Periapsis. @AndrewGarrison

6.0 years ago@Jetspeed1001 But adding more fuel tanks means more weight which makes the extra engines redundant.
