Despite the similarities, they are games for different audiences. At the moment, I prefer Juno, as KSP2 currently lacks the features I bought it for (colonies, multiplayer). Juno is targeted more towards engineering, realism, and fine-tuning the design of your rockets, while KSP2 is targeted more as an exploration game. Add in performance, I prefer Juno overall currently.
Glad about more players joining the community, but can y’all make sure to do a full paid release of your next game on mobile as well as whatever free versions there may be?
I actually think hot staging is a better idea as it’s not so much dependent on the booster rather than the ship and might allow for limited abort capability.
If it’s the one where you land in DSC Bay, I used a poorly engineered rocket. It took several attempts, and I’d recommend a plane that lands by parachute that is flown by a rocket.
@ysu That game took six years? Juno was made over six years and is actually a feature complete finished product. KSP2 fails to achieve basic game mechanics.
@ValkyrieXB78 Again, not sure about the exact number as I don’t have the same device. I think with a dedicated GPU you might be able to run more parts than I can.
I can handle above 1000 with around 26 fps on high graphics settings. I have a higher end phone, but not quite a gaming one like that, so I’d probably say 1000-2500 depending on how far you push the graphics.
Contract deadlines were changed. And for the loss, you get the launch pad, so if you could use that, you would be better off taking the loss to get the launchpad.
Don’t say you pirated it, the devs might come after you. Also I don’t know where other than steam to get it on PC yet, but steam is kind of hard to deal with.
Don’t worry about it. I don’t have discord and don’t want it, but as a mobile player it doesn’t mean that you can’t play the game. Not that I don’t want the PC version, but one of the best parts of this game is that it runs on mobile. Just ignore them, they can’t put their PC in their pocket and take Juno everywhere with them.
Edit: Juno will be discounted when it launches in launch discount, and I may consider the PC version then.
@Airdead It’s a nice idea, but won’t change the game much and will not have much affect on anything like that. It’s not worth the developers pausing work on career mode.
@Airdead I never said you were a bad version, and I don’t believe you are one. It’s just that if the developers don’t implement something within a week of you asking, it’s not reason to be mad. This is Jundroo’s game, and if they added everything the community wanted, it probably would be far worse off. I’m not saying your idea is bad, it’s actually a pretty good idea, but you can’t just go and demand that this game has to be done your way. Nobody can.
@Airdead Look, the developers won’t, nor should they, bend over backwards to implement one suggestion, nor is it the end of the world for anyone if they do not feel any reason to. I can’t say I’m not guilty of tagging devs over stupid problems I had in the past, but it’s no reason to delete the software if they don’t add multiple star support, and it should be easy to simulate this to some degree with custom career modes and progression across multiple player deigned systems in predetermined order. If you look at what SimpleRockets2 has gone from in the first release to now it is truly mind blowing how much work and time has gone into this amazing game. Have some respect for the devs and the work they put into this, and that’s something I probably should do more as well.
@darkturtle999 That’s a really great idea. If it was a picture of the planet you are orbiting/launching from, maybe with a sci-do background filter, it would work for custom systems too.
It does not have any of the features you mentioned. It appears to fit into the market of a KSP-like game for mobile instead of a Juno competitor.

+3 10 months agoIf you’re good at coding there’s this, but other than that there aren’t any options that I’m aware of.
11 months agoI actually think hot staging is a better idea as it’s not so much dependent on the booster rather than the ship and might allow for limited abort capability.
1.4 years agoI would love to see more kinds of shuttle cockpits and actual hypergolic fuels.
+2 1.4 years ago@Pedro I must be blind, sorry.
1.4 years ago¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ Custom careers?
1.4 years agoWith raycasting, it might be time to switch the game from the Unity game engine to the Juno: New Origins game engine.
+2 1.4 years agoBotched stage separation, the whole stack did the flip maneuver.
1.6 years agoBuy SimplePlanes so we can have April fools there as well.
+2 1.7 years agoIt should be mentioned that SimpleRockets is 75% off. I got it at 2$ because I need a simple game like it and for nostalgia's sake.
1.7 years ago@SamTheFox Exactly. Too many cons to type.
+1 1.7 years agoLiterally half of the pros for Kerbal Scam Program 2 aren’t implemented yet. You can manual burn in Juno, and you didn’t mention performance.
+1 1.7 years agoIf it’s the one where you land in DSC Bay, I used a poorly engineered rocket. It took several attempts, and I’d recommend a plane that lands by parachute that is flown by a rocket.
+1 1.7 years ago@DragoranosSR2 I can only hope and pray for that, as I have passed the threshold for a refund.
1.7 years ago@ysu Not up to the task? They must have tried to get the base game mechanics wrong on purpose!
+1 1.7 years ago@ysu That game took six years? Juno was made over six years and is actually a feature complete finished product. KSP2 fails to achieve basic game mechanics.
+2 1.7 years ago@DragoranosSR2 Juno was early access. That game is three years of waste.
+1 1.7 years agoI paid $50 for a game with more bugs than the original and a quarter of the framerate I get in high settings in Juno on medium settings.
+2 1.7 years agoFinally! Thank ya’ll for finishing this! But why was the change to smoke reverted? I happen to like more smoke.

+1 1.8 years agoHello, parallel universe version of you! As you will come to find, this game will make you forget all about another game called “SimplePlanes.”
1.8 years agoDon’t worry about it. I don’t have discord and don’t want it, but as a mobile player it doesn’t mean that you can’t play the game. Slightly sad. It will always be SimpleRockets2 in my heart.
+16 1.9 years ago@Luckwut Thanks! Do you have a slightly higher resolution so I can read the text?
+1 1.9 years ago@Airdead It’s a nice idea, but won’t change the game much and will not have much affect on anything like that. It’s not worth the developers pausing work on career mode.

+1 1.9 years agoAlso tinker panel is disabled in career mode, right? Otherwise you could beat the game on one part.
+1 1.9 years agoI AM GOING TO DIE HAPPY. IF I STOP POSTING HERE, I DIED OF HAPPINESS. THIS IS EVERYTHING I WANTED AND MORE. THANK YOU.
+1 1.9 years agoHappens to me too.
+1 2.0 years ago@darkturtle999 That’s a really great idea. If it was a picture of the planet you are orbiting/launching from, maybe with a sci-do background filter, it would work for custom systems too.
+1 2.0 years agoMaybe this time we should try to make one’s unique to every celestial body, so you’re not stuck with just Droo and Luna.
+19 2.0 years ago@SamTheFox Do what? And my name is BeastHunter, not Speak English.
2.0 years agoHi Sick, I’m BeastHunter!
+1 2.0 years ago@Wenhop Yes.
+1 2.0 years ago@Wenhop What are those?
+1 2.0 years agoTinker much? I can’t get SSTO’s to work without it.
+1 2.0 years agoFunny.
+2 2.0 years agoLooks like there are three career mode menus:
+3 2.0 years agoContracts.
Milestones.
Exploration.
This should be very interesting!
I already built something like this, I’ll post it later.
2.1 years ago@Wills123 Oh, I used kerolox. Result not guaranteed. (I tried three times so far, and only landed once.)
2.1 years ago@Wills123 Also, is it normal to need ion engines to get to Nebra?
2.1 years agoI finally managed to get there. Finally.
2.1 years ago@Zenithspeed @SamTheFox Why do y’all use those? Kerolox has way more Delta-V.
